Still can't believe that Mourinho interview actually happened. Absolutely terrible man management. :wenger:

There's a part of me that wants everyone to learn how to take corners and dead balls to get a little bit of finnesse to their play like Shaw has added to his gameplay this year.

Its quite funny how at the time alot of fans believed Jose on players. He made Pogba look toxic, Shaw lazy, here we are when a player is trusted by the manager.

Jose was the toxic one, he did not respect the fans either with his rant after Sevilla.

People really fell for his Voodoo. Unbelievable really! he could of told some of our fans Fergie was the devil and they'd believe him.

He tried the same stuff with Martial, and tried to ruin the reputation of Pogba too.

That was the turning point for me, his comments were disgraceful.

He should have been sacked that very moment.

Jose was self serving, I agree his comments were utterly disgraceful. No one cares how many PL trophies he has won, he was brought into the club to change what had happened under Moyes and LVG. Instead he ended up disrespecting the fans.

"I sit in this chair with Porto, Man United out, I sit in this chair with Real Madrid, Man United out. So is not something new for the club and of course being Manchester United manager and losing a Champions League tie at home is a disappointment, obviously."

United are apparently used to losing in the quarter finals, so it's OK :wenger:

I literally celebrated his sacking like a title win, best news in years.

Man Utd 2:4 Liverpool
Thought that was a really bad game from him. Constantly out of position and gifted them a goal, kept giving it away. Had a great season but that wasn't good.

Annoying time to have his worst game of the season. Obviously should be doing better for the second goal.

Agreed, his worst performance so far this season. The whole team looked unprepared for this game.

Worst game he’s had all season. Which is strange, even when he wasn’t at this level Liverpool was one game he’d do excellent in

Should have passed or cleared the ball to the left where Fred was having a lot of space. I am not sure why you would try to dribble right in front of your own box through middle. That was weird.

Klopp just spoke about tactics of isolating Shaw and stopping him getting the ball. Interesting. Guess that’s why he is a top coach seeing things other managers don’t.

He's had a run of dodgy games now (started with Roma away) far too arrogant thinking he has hours on the ball when he doesn't

I would think most managers know Shaw is one of our biggest attacking threats and 90% of our attacks go through him/on the left

I thought in the first half he had opportunities to overlap Pogba but just didn't take them, to the point where I started thinking he must have been instructed not to go on ahead of him at any point because of TAA.

Still some good stuff on the ball here and there but I agree it was as poor as he's been in a long time. Overall though Shaw gets a free ride from me considering how great he's been and how fecking abysmal more of less everyone was tonight.

Because he is the only guy who is composed on the ball in our backline. A good manager would have identified that tactics and would have gone for a 3 man defense to counter it. Sadly, we kept the McFred combo far too long and the game was lost by that time.

Gave away possession cheaply at times. Didn't seem like Shaw + Pogba took the threat of Salah and Alexander-Arnold seriously enough.

Yeah that 3rd goal was terrible. He just needed to get rid of the ball and put it out.

Anyway, one shit game in a phenomenal season isn't a big deal.

his worst game this year, could barely carry the ball out of the flank which is very unlike him.

maybe he felt the pressure today, but he looked a bit heavier and slower today. he usually glides away from people with ease, but it just didn’t happen for him today.

when he doesn’t play well we look so lost, he’s our get out of jail card in possession.

Very mediocre performance from Luke tonight.
He just didn't get the support . Pogba wasn't there to help. They were targeting him all night. If anything , with Maguire out we should have given enough support to our backline.

Fonseca/Roma were trying to do the same thing. They noticeably pressed Shaw or our left side more than they did with our right side, since they know we are stronger building from there.
