Williams has shown more in his handful of games than Shaw has in about 18 months, hell even Young has been better lately. Not good enough, not hungry enough (on the field....)

It's that simple. Doesn't want to overlap, doesn't want to underlap. Walks around with his heels flat on the floor, receives the ball and immediately looks to pass inside. Even when he does try to one-two with the wide player, he meets the ball a mere 5 yards from further down the field.
There's no upside to him starting ahead of Williams. None. His so-called experience doesn't improve us over and above a youth product, and quite frankly that's enough for me. The coaching team need to soberly appraise this squad and drop the sentimentality which allows for mediocrity to remain.
