Luis Suarez to Liverpool?

You never walk alone. Indeed.

Idk but it looks like he hasn't left that much friends in his own team either.

Could have something to do with his constant complaining and nagging when he isn't getting the ball or someone else is taking a shot or just him being an annoying, dirty, little, horse faced cnut.

Is that real?

I'm so out of the loop at the moment being in South America.

Will be funny if/when Suarez leaves Liverpool. Maybe not January but summer more likely of they continue to fail. What's the odds half their fanbase will start calling him a racist bastard who brought shame on the club.

Yeah it's real. When I saw it on TV I even felt a short moment of pity for him, he looked so confused and disappointed when he saw that he was all alone.

The fist pump at the end made it indeed comical again. :D

Is the strengthening of City worth the humiliation of Poo for you Mancs?

I'd say it's better that they keep Suarez as he alone won't have them winning anything anytime soon.

I don't think he'll strengthen them tbh. They don't really need a player like him, and if he goes there it's at the expense of Falcao/Cavani, players that would be far scarier. So yeah, I wouldn't be overly bothered if he went there.

I think it depends where they would play him if he would play as one of the three behind the striker he could easily replace Nasri who in all honesty is quite shit.

Silva, Agüero and Suarez in the hole behind Tevez/Dzeko/Balotelli could do quite well I feel.

At least he will play every game for Poo and provide regular reasons to talk about him and them out of his cuntishness.

I was going to mention how Arse sold most of their best players to Shitty, but, on balance, they didn't really strengthen them to any great extent, and in some case at all. All it really did was weaken Arse. If you still had Adebayor, Nasri & Clichy I think you'd be a lot better off yet those 3 have not had a any great impact at Shitty.

They'll have to sell him soon, I think even at the end of season, because Suarez won't stay at a mid-table side for much longer. And when they do sell him I reckon it'll inevitably be to another PL side so that Scousers begin to hate him.

I wonder if he had a clause put in his new contract that lets him go for a specific price, otherwise he locked himself into a long term deal with a club showing no real signs of progression.

They might get 35-40 mil for him. For this sum they will easily get 2-3 quality players.

On paper that always seems easier than it is, I mean look at what they did with the Torres money.

I guess that could work with Mancini wanting to play 3 at the back and have bombing wingbacks. The plus side would be Suarez and Silva getting chances to score goals instead of Dzeko, and playing the 3 at the back that has cost them points this season.

I've seen you mention Dzeko a couple of times lately, you rate him highly? I think with Suarez he's showing the goal scoring part of his game that was missing last season but evident in Holland, and as an all round player he would add a dynamic threat to most treams attack.

 funniest Gif in a long time and it's not even manniped.

Dzeko is already responsible for saving City many points this season. He's not the all round player that Tevez, Aguero or Suarez are but he easily has the goals and finishing to make sure City keep picking up all their points even when they dont play well. As I mentioned, even last season where his form dipped he still had the best goals to minutes ratio for City so he should have played more.

Its almost the same thing as with Hernandez. On current form you know that if they get one single chance, even if you bring them on as a sub in the 80th minute, thats a goal. End of story.

While Suarez has scored many goals already this season I havent seen any that change my mind about his finishing. I still see him missing great chances and the goals I've seen him score (I dont watch every Liverpool match obviously) he's been in the right place to tap them in rather than being clinical with just the one or two chances in a match. For me he still has a lot to prove with his finishing and less than 10 league goals isnt enough to change that. If he carries it on all season we'll have to talk again. But theres nothing to say he wont have a season like Demba Ba last year

I haven't watched all of the Liverpool games myself so I don't know how many he is missing in comparison to last season, but I thought he was pretty clinical against Everton, Newcastle and Chelsea.

Dzeko is a good finisher no doubt but I think the way Mancini has used him has played to his strengths and he could continue on with that even if Suarez is bought. In the modern game impact off the bench is more important than ever, even though I imagine Dzeko is not satisfied with the role.

To be fair Clichy was pretty immense last year. Was also a 'tick the box' signing. When you look at Nasri and the players in their squad he he signed you instantly go.... "why did they sign him?.."

The impact he had was fairly minimal for the hype and the fee to for mine.

Nasri had an excellent half a year at Arsenal, other than that he hasn't really impressed in his spell in England and I'm kind of glad we missed out on him in the end (even though he'd probably play central midfield here and is certainly better than what we have).

Even if Suarez will prove to be an improvement over the likes of Balotelli and Dzeko, it won't be a great one. Then again they got plenty of quality all across the pitch so I'm not sure anyone would prove to be a great improvement over current lot, it's about slight improvements at the moment.

We signed Van Persie and I personally am far happier for that. Nasri would have filled a hole for that roaming left sided player. I think when Kagawa comes back in to the fold that he will get an opportunity to shine there.

I just don't like Nasri. I think he's a cretin to be honest. Any analysis I make has that in mind. In time I probably would have grown to enjoy him but that move to City worked for me on that level.

I always get the impression that if you could get great build-up play out of Suarez without making him the focal point then you would really have something special there to work with. But Suarez footballing personality mean's he needs goals and his ego massaged to keep him happy.

I was half listening to Talkshite last night on the way home from work & they spoke to the journalist who broke the 'story'. I got the impression that he pretty much made the whole thing up because he thought it would be a good idea for the Scouse to get some money in from Suarez to do a bit of squad rebuilding.

So the papers made the whole thing up,Rodgers denied it,as well as Mancini., but everyone on here believes it. No wonder the press is like it is with gullible people that lap up every rumor.

I see Chelsea as a more likely destination for him anyway. City have two world class strikers and two more very good ones whereas Chelsea have no world class strikers, only Torres who is shit and Sturridge who is worse.

I genuinely reckon Suarez'd be a 20-goal striker at City.

I think you'll find he's going to be a 20-goal striker for Liverpool

What a load of old pony. I think the rest of the team had jumped on Jamie C for getting his first assist since 1874. He is one of the most popular players in the squad.

He's going nowhere unless FSG are going to pull the rug from under us.

Strange then that in that GIF there is no huddle of players anywhere near Carragher, or any other player for that matter, and everyone is just jogging back to their own half. I see no celebration of an assist there.

Did they even know that Carragher hasn't had an assist in 50 years? Is that the kind of thing Liverpool players discuss?

I don't even think Mancini has a clue what he's doing. If he's looking to move to three at the back then this is a daft transfer. Sorting his defence out is a way bigger priority.

Give them 100

Be good to see them splash 40 million on Bent

What an appropriate tagline.

ok I concede, we're doomed. everyone hates him because The Neville says so.

You have to admit that that looked weird. Everyone just strolling back to their own half and not a single one joined in to celebrate with Suarez. It´s not like you were 5-0 down and he put in an consolation goal. If that happened at United to me it would be a sad sight. Watching that clip and seeing the surprise/disappointment in Suarez`s eyes when he realised he was on his own even made me feel a bit sorry for him. I got over it soon though. He is a cnut but I didn´t think the whole Liverpool team shared my views

I'm sure this has been posted before, but it's a great view of how the events unfolded.

I'll bet my life that if Suarez scores today, the entire starting XI, the substitutes, the manager, the coaches, the backroom staff and half of the Kop will rush to congratulate him.

You'll never walk alone, la.

That definitely doesn't look like the rest of the squad are jumping on Carragher's back for his assist. More like heading back to the half way line.

Further evidence of his ostracisation clearly on show again today

Eejits ;)

You must be blind to not see that clearly not anyone celebrated with Suarez nor did they went and congratulated Carragher. Funny to see you get so defensive over it though!

Ha, I'm not at all. I find it hilarious that you're all trying to interpret a gif, which I admit looked strange at the time, into there being a problme with Luis in the team when clearly there isn't. Clutching at straws me thinks.

Who knows what was going on at the Chelsea game?

As much as I hate Suarez, I think it's pretty poor form for his teammates to do that. I'd hate to see Nani ever get that treatment. Honestly, without Suarez they are useless, so you think they'd try not to bite the hand that feeds (leave the biting to Suarez...)

That's what we all are saying mate. It's a bit strange!

So let me get this straight: a player scores a clutch goal for a struggling side, against the (then) top side, and NOT ONE of his team mates even acknowledge it, is considered normal? The pain of his face is so obvious, and given ALL the evidence that suggests Suarez is a khunt of the highest order it is logical to think there could be something in it. I hope not for Liverpool's sake, but to totally play it down is hilarious.

So did they? Cause in that video it looks to me as though three or four people turn to Carragher then chase him up field celebrating.. Obviously I could be wrong though.
