I'm not really one for getting excited about transfers (especially when we have had plenty of ins/outs in the last few years and we still suck). But this one did interest me.

Apparently, MUFC are prepared to bid £135M for Luis Suarez.

I for one have admired this guy ever since he and Sturridge produced some crazy goal stats at LFC a few years back. And IMO, he is arguably the best striker in the World.

Of course he has his (biting) issues, though he hasn't bitten anyone for a while now.

So, how do you guys feel?
£135M for Suarez - YES OR NO?

He can feck right off, don't care the predicament the club is in, I would never take him here.

Boo him even if he was our number 9, racist spitting cannibal.

Not sure who'd answer yes here even though he definitely (not arguably) is the best striker in the world. Disgraceful footballer

Besides the fact that he's Luis Suarez, he'll be 30 in January. I don't know how well he'll do in his mid 30s but for such a crazy price I'd prefer to bring in someone younger.

Anyone who truly believes we're trying to get him deserves a slap.

If Ed Woodward paid £90M for Pogba, he would probably pay this for Suarez, he has no concept of value for money
Pogba has very high resale value. Suarez doesn't.

It's beyond daft but I'd take him just for the laugh as much as football reasons.

I'd love for it to happen cause he's an excellent player and beggars can't be choosers. Also, to royally piss the Liverpool fans off. Imagine the meltdown!

He's still a dirty, nasty afterbirth, though.

No, not at his age. I know 29 isn't old by any means but in football it might mean he only has a year or two before he declines. It's too much to spend on someone who might decline soon.

If we bring him in it will actual be the final nail in the coffin of the values of the club which we had when Fergie was around, fair enough we still play the odd youth player but to bring in Suarez with that money at his age, with his past towards the club would show we're 100% no longer about building a team and its simply about throwing money around on anyone. We used to say how we were different to Real Madrid as even though we could and did spend big money now and again, we mainly build squads with younger players hungry to play for United and not just throw teams together with big names.

Not that I believe this will happen mind.

I'd stop following United. I don't dislike him because he has played for rivals. I dislike him because he's a racist cheating thug.

Seriously? I'm surprised you haven't already. Considering our legend Giggseh been banging his sister in law for best part of the decade, amongst other things, like paying for her to get an abortion.

Buy him. He has a hunger that can't be matched by any of our players.

fecking hell.

Comparing Giggs to Suarez.

Was laughing at this when I first saw it, but with Mourinho in charge and Woody behind the scenes, don't count anything out. If cannot beat Barca and Real Madrid in winning things, we may as well beat them out in spending.

Ibra, Rooney, Rashford, Martial. No midfield or defense. Let´s buy another striker. Yup sounds like the new United.

I'll never bother with this club again if this transpires.

Sponsorship, corporate whoring and what not never bugged me, it's how the game is run nowadays, but I'd like to believe my club would have some restraints rather than bringing a horrible cheating cvnt who racially abused one of our finest ex player.

I can't believe this is even being discussed. It would literally never happen.

I honestly think there would be a higher likelihood of us signing Neymar or Busquets which would also never happen.

Sure, why not. We're no longer good at football, night as well get in a clown.

You ain't making it to full time member I'd wager.

Why, because my opinion is that Suarez is nowhere near as bad as Giggs?

Let's get something clear, I don't condone Suarez's behaviour at all, but I know who's worse in my book. I guess it's a matter of opinion.

Anyhow, I was making a point, albeit sarcastically, that we've had enough dirty laundry ourselves, over the years. So why stop supporting a club, over something less...

Sign a player who racially abused our captain while playing for our most hated rivals?

I'd sooner buy Fellaini again.
