I think some people need to reconsider their opinion that Nasri is the Player of the Year. Nani's matched and surpassed his efforts this season for me.

Agree. Best part about him is that we don't necessarily need to be played well for him to produce the goods. Just give him the goal and he makes everything happen. Awesome.

There were parts in that first half where the only option to get us going was to send out to the right with Nani, he just makes stuff happen. His movement on the ball is unbelievable, just glides past players for fun these days.
Basically that Nani's goal was amazing but because Rooney's was so good and it was the match winner, nobody will be talking about it.
His best performance in a Utd shirt, considering the quality of the opposition. The kid's amazing and he's still improving. If he continues like he has, I'm confident we'll win the league. Brilliant performance.
They asked him something about the goals and he was going on about Nani's saying it's a shame, or a crime (can't remember his exact words) that Nani's goal would be forgotten and overlooked after Wayne's super-striker. He was just commenting on the immense quality of it.

It's insane, isn't it? He's been playing blinders and consistently creating and scoring goals for the better part of a year. Have to wonder what the heck else he can do?

The thing is now though, he can beat any player. The amount of times today he just ran rings around 2 or 3 players at a time effortlessly and they couldn't do anything. The kid is insane.
He is in such incredible form. Simply the best wing man in the EPL by miles.
I've said it - because we have so so many players that are just class - he doesn't get as much credit as he deserves in the press. People go on about Giggs at his age, then Rooney is Rooney good or bad gets a lot of press, Berbatov has been in sensational goal scoring form.

Why can't every player learn to shoot, pass, and take first touches with both legs. This makes players like Nani and Scholes and Messi and Ronaldo so feckin good.
The funny thing is that you'll get all these pundits saying that Bale's the best winger in the league, he's worth £40m but Nani is miles ahead of Bale for my money and every other winger in the league. Two footed, scores goals, assists and is a lot more devastating against top quality opposition. Goals (not to mention assists) vs Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, City etc

If he'd somehow been able to smash that chance past the keeper just after we'd gone a man down then I think it might well be regarded as the single greatest individual performance at Old Trafford in our European Cup history.
