Television Lost: Season 5

I guess we'll find out next Season. Maybe when he takes their form he also takes their memories.

while this is plausable, we dont know this for sure.

Well he does have his memories because when Clare was seen with him in that cabin we heard her say it was her dad... and before Locke turned that wheel he said say hi to my son. So what ever that thing is that can take peoples forms can take their memory

the other guy was traped in the cabin by jacob and it was surrounded by ash. so this other guy told them to move the island knowing it would cause them to jump through time.

widmore and ben also seem like pawns to me now

im not saying that if he was also christian he didnt have his memories because its obvious that he did.

What im saying is that we do not know that the guy who is acting as locke also acted as Christian.

Yes but we still dont know for sure that he was also Christian, one big difference between the two is Lockes dead body was found whilst Christian's disapeared for example.

who else would it be then ?

ben said a couple of episodes back that "dead is dead"

The whole Jacob arc in this episode was a play on the God-free will thing.

In fact Jacob has been portrayed as a God like figure for the island. Ben's monologue about never being able to see him, just following his orders via an agent.Blaming him for letting his daughter die or banishing him.

Also the whole white ending thing means that they flashed before the explosion. I am sure that's how they will explain that.

richard received the orders and gave it to ben.

I thought he was and it all started when Ben took Locke to that cabin in the first place, one of them displaced the ash circle and released what ever was trapped in it (Jacobs Rival) and this rival can take the shape of the dead - all speculation but it seems logical

It will have to be, otherwise most of the main characters are dead.
It will be shit though. Because just like the last flash for O5, they won't really explain it and just says that's how it is. They did not even explain why Sun did not flash with others in the finale when they said they would. They are probably hoping, people will forget about it.

This is Lost my friend. Did you really expect them to answer everything? The fact that they've publicly acknowledged the Sun situation obviously means they have an explanation in mind.

I thought it was an awesome finale. A real mindfeck, but Lost fans should be used to that by now. Alot better than what some people are making it out to be. Only thing I didnt like was the way Juliets change of mind was handled. I also think its pretty safe to assume we're going to see alot more of Jacob next season.

The direction in which the show goes next season will be crucial. Obviously all these new elements they introduced are all part of their big story so its unfair to judge them till we know where its going.

I thought it may have something to do with the fact that she didnt have her baby with her so it wasnt everyone coming back to the Island...

Also isnt next season the last season for Lost?

Is he going to come back from the dead and all?

Also Jacob just standing there goading Ben to kill him seemed to bit strange. Maybe the bomb works and this counters the loop hole that guy thought he found. After what seemed like an epic struggle, it would be odd if Jacob just gave up so easily.

Also anyone else notice just how insignificant the likes of Locke, Ben and Widmore feel right now. They were all pawns in a battle between two people. Richard is the only one right now who still seems important.

Yeah, Jacob definately has something up his sleeve me thinks .

And yeah I was thinking that too, Do you guys think this is the war Widmore was on about? And if so does this mean Widmore seen Jacob or Mr X?

I think he has, he seems to be much more knowledgeable then Ben is. And that actualy leads to another question.....whos side is Widmore on?

Mindfeck....Utter fecking Mindfeck!...I actually thought it was quite good, but it's definitely the shark jumping moment. Depends how they go from here but I liked the way Jacob influenced all the survivors in critical points in their lives and thought the actor playing him was very good...Cool, Likeable, a little messianic.....But just an utter utter mindfeck.

The only bad bits for me were Kate & Juliets flitting...which was utterly ridiculous and rather pointless..

I can see why people wouldn't like it...It's diving off the top board a bit...But it felt like he first genuinely 'exciting' episode I'd seen in a while..

The games changed now

But perhaps Widmore was only helping Locke because it was the real Locke, he died after his meetings with Widmore not before which suggests that Widmore is with Jacob.

Also Widmore said that Jacob wanted Rousos baby dead but Ben didnt do it, on the whole scale of things killing that baby would mean she would not grow up and cause Bens dead daughter to threaten him into following undead Lockes orders. Something tells me that Ben is just being used by undead Locke and has no idea whos side hes on. But i think Widmore is on Jacobs side as he was willing to kill a baby

He wasn't goading him. He gave him a choice. Just follow without asking any questions and told him the truth that he was not special. It is basically a play on God as portrayed in a lot of religion. They also gave Jacob a sense of omniscience, that he knew Ben was going to kill him.
