Television Lost: Season 5

its common sense.

two different people cant be the same person. richard knew of jacob in 1954 when locke told him that jacob sent him which means jacob was present before 1954 when locke wasn't even around.

its like saying charlie hume is charles widmore :wenger:

Now you might be on to something there.....

I wasn't actually being totally serious. Well not at first but with this time travel plotlines, anything is possible.

I just had a thought, what if by killing Jacob Locke meant to expose him as not actualy being real hence why he is bringing all of the others with him. Lockes never realy seemed to be much a believer in Jacob has he.

But i think the twist will be that Jacob is indeed real and...well I havnt got that far yet but you know

or he's just manipulating ben and has no intention of killing him.

This just came to me in my sleep ... Its not a spoiler (I don't read any of those), just pure speculation ... What if Jack is Jacob ... the names are pretty similar. Jack's full name is Jack Shepherd, and the Jacob from the Bible was a shepherd. Plus it was Locke who made sure that they all come back to the island so he could possibly kill them (don't have a clue why though). With the time travelling, its conceivable that Jack goes way back in the past and becomes Jacob. This makes sense in my head ; sounds like gibberish putting it down though.

Ps - What a fecking cracking episode. This season has been top notch. Can't wait for the finale, they definitely have a major surprise lined up.

Ps Ps - The conversation between Chang and Hurley was brilliant.

But we know Jacob's real, we've seen him.

We have ? We've only seen Christian, through whom Jacob sends his messages and if I'm not wrong only Richard and Locke have seen Jacob yet. Locke seemed pretty sure that Ben has never met Jacob.

Wasnt that eye in the cabin which Hurley saw commonly acknowledged as Jacob?

I've seen this stheory before. And don't forget that Christian seems well connected to Jacob, and Christian is Jack's dad.

i can't see it being Jack, maybe another member of his family tho, his granddad or something

possible spoiler regarding Jacob

they have already announced the actor who is gonna play Jacob, so that surely rules out Christian and Jack

i didn't understand how radzinsky was ordering around horace and dr.chang. whats his position in dharma?

i think the O6 will get flashed back into the 'present time' when locke does something or someone turns the wheel.

What's happened to Walt?

I think he's Rebel. Oh sorry, no. That's Heroes. So hard to keep up.

"Esau became a hunter, a man of the field, but Jacob was a simple man, a dweller in tents"

"Esau was filled with hatred toward Jacob for taking away both his birthright and his blessing. He vowed to himself to kill Jacob as soon as Isaac dies."

Jacob and Esau were fraternal twins. Rebekah bore Esau first and Jacob was birthed second. This subsequent occurrence traditionally entitled Esau to inherit the wealth of his father after his death.
