I predict that Usain Bolt will get dq'd for a false start in the 100m.

There's been a slight change to the rules, although you still get instantly DQ'd for one:

The little-publicised clarification by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) permits athletes to move in the starting blocks without being disqualified so long as their hands do not leave the ground or their feet the blocks.
Previously, such twitching or flinching could have resulted in disqualification at the discretion of the starter.

Rain and mild on Sunday so the time won't be any faster than 9.70 or so. Blake's the only one of the four contenders in proper shape, Bolt, Powell and Gay look like they've been carrying injuries. On their best performances those three would medal, but. Blake might take it if Bolt isn't on his game.

Bolt to win in 9.69. Blake second in 9.73. Gay third in 9.74. Powell fourth in 9.77.

Are the top 3 all in the 200m too? I have tickets to that. Can't wait. Though I think it's the one Bolt will win easier. I know Asafa doesn't do 200m. I'm just not sure if Gay is this time?

Kinda hope he reclaims both. Love if all of them ran as close as Stetch prediction, that'd be insanely awesome.

I'm more excited to see how Adam Gemili gets on.

Only 18, was playing non league football upto this year, only just started sprinting full time a few months back and ran a 10.05 breaking the world junior championship record. Could easily break the 10 second barier at the games. Which is crazy for an 18 year old.

Think Lemaitre is focussing solely on the 200m and should contend for a top 4/5 spot.

Great story and what the Olympics are all about.

That was fast, not as fast as Bolt mind but still pretty fast dont you think pauldy?

Provided Ennis stays out of trouble in the field events, the gold is hers.

She ran it just as quickly as the las who won the gold in the hurdles at 2008 Olympics?! What an incredible effort that is.

I don't think there one bad looking lass in this heptathlon thing.

Katarina is nice as well except for her ugly scouse accent.

These African birds in the 10k are barely breaking sweat. The Japanese who broke away at the start are paying for it now.

I never thought watching women running in circles for half an hour could be so fascinating.
