London 2012 Opening Ceremony

If it is an individual it will be a surprise choice i think but right now i'm leaning toward some joint effort.

Maybe they'll give out 80,000 buzzers and have the crowd do it after a countdown, who knows.

We should showcase the British sense of humour by plying Paul Gascoigne will booze and having him light the cauldron.

The Red Arrows just flew over my house in Hammersmith. Very loud.
 
I love the red arrows, i was lucky enough to go to primary school in the village where they're permanently based at & saw them practice every day. They're always good value.

I just heard if the rain doesn't stop they might be forced to curtail the ceremony. That would be a shame. Should have held it at Wimbledon Centre Court.
 
Danny Boyle's insisted he be the one to light it.
 
The games are being held in the sprawling metropolis that is London, so they decide to have an opening ceremony with some cnuty country theme...
 
Best opening ceremony for me was the Commonwealth games in Manchester , a Dj and turntables. , job done.

That's what happens when you put a film director in charge. They just build a massive set.
 
Jesus look at where they made those kids in northern ireland go to sing, right out on those rocks. Health and safety will have a field day.
