To be fair, there is a possibility that even Suarez will look a good guy next to him. Anyway the good part for you is that when Suarez is suspended, Costa will play, and when Costa is suspended than Suarez will play. The money available in the league is fantastic & most certainly not out of control. Its distributed amongst all the clubs & is absolutely correct.
La Liga Barca & Real get the lions share of all tv money, whereas our league is only separated by £500k-£1m per league position. United could have been earning shitloads more than Barca & Real if we negotiated our own tv deal, something that we or the other top clubs don't get any kudos for either!

£22m seems like a lot for a forward who's only had one decent season for Atletico and half a season for Rayo Vallecano, especially as Spurs and City have just paid only slightly more for far more proven players from the same league. It also seems poitless for him to leave Atletico to join Liverpool but then again money talks and they'd probably double his wages.

He had a better 2013 than Falcao, and was a vital part of the Atleti team that finished 3rd and won the copa del rey. His goal in the final was brilliant. He is a massive wind up merchant, and pretty much every team in la liga fall for his antics. Just the way he likes it. I personally think this is a poor move , he's a good enough player, absolutely no question, far,far better than andy carroll and I think those comparisons are misguided. The problem is him. Hes getting a reputation in a league that pepe has survived in. He wont get away with any of his shit in the premier league, its a vastly different environment, and I cant see him changing at all, some players just are not suited to this league, he would be top of the list.
