Liverpool are the luckiest club in the league and it will never end

I think referees should be respected for the difficult and thankless job they do and I for one commend them for the tremendous judgement and fortitude they showed today.

deflected equaliser and late winner at Palace, lucky not to concede a penalty against Sheffield United, dramatic win at Anfield vs Fulham, and now City binning a 2 goal lead vs Palace
Liverpool will get a statement win tomorrow OR a dramatic 96th minute winner

Scripts being written

they get to play their kids midweek in europe, they have their biggest competition drop points at home, all before they have their easiest game of the season for a guaranteed 3 points and a big gd boost. lucky pricks.

Remember that season when Palace put 3 past City at the Etihad and they went 7 points behind Liverpool going into January? That was 18-19. Liverpool won the league that year, right?

Oh, wait.

At least wait until April before wailing, drama queens

7 point lead but at least 1 (maybe 2) games in hand...

Gentle reminder that it’s Michael Oliver in charge tomorrow. Quote this post by all means.

That’s is guys. 20th league title for them lot
On the way. We don’t look anywhere near getting back to the top. we knocked them off their perch long ago and allowed them to just get back on it . The only thing we had over every club in England was the amount of titles we had. But that looks like it’s fading away every week. Depressed

Will move them six points ahead of Manchester City tomorrow and still have to play them in Anfield where they nearly always beat them in. Having Arsenal as the main chaser would be another stroke of luck. It's very much Liverpool's title to lose now and with their luck I don't expect them to let this opportunity slip..

I no longer give a crap about Liverpool winning 20 or 21 titles. We had our run, it was amazing but with City doing the Treble, it seems we were not destined to stand alone for much longer anyway. At least Liverpool is doing it the right way, unlike City and their dirty oil money.

Sickening to think they could put to bed the biggest club in England debate in May. Fecking Glazers.

Relax, City are gonna go on their usual 15 game winning streak in the new year.

Definitely possible. Feels like they need KDB and Stones fully fit to do that though - can see that being possible with Stones but I can't see KDB staying injury free for the rest of the campaign.

Season 18/19 Man City had 44 points after 17 games and finished with 98 points. Right now 34 points after 17 games and if they are lucky will get a little over 80 points?

Yes, we're so lucky that it's Manchester City that's been our title rivals these recent years. Nothing like coming second with 97 and 92 points.

I think we're due a 'Ferguson' and pick up a title where 2nd place doesn't even crack 80 points, like 2013 and 2011

On a serious note it’s perfectly normal that 63% of the Liverpool squad are asthmatic, when only 12% of people on average suffer. It’s actually to be expected because asthmatics are famously athletic so Klopp will have targeted them for his high energy system.

Imagine taking an online blog with no sources or evidence as gospel.

KDB will be back in the new year and I’m certain they’ll find their form regardless. I might just be traumatized by the last 5 or so years, though

I think were going to win the league

Wish I scared your optimism. Although my mood regarding football changes like the wind blows, so perhaps tomorrow I’ll feel like we’ll win both the Europa League and the PL.

Actually, it's the other way around. Athletes are famously asthmatic. And the 63% is of course wholly made up by some dude named Alan Moore who referenced "a source close to the club". About as low-grade a claim as they come. But we've been here before, yeah?

They are only 3 points behind the top of the table. Is a 6 point gap insurmountable for City?

If you think so, fair enough, let's panic

Who knows how many titles were won by Liverpool in the 70's/80's under dubious circumstances.
The Beatles are the only great thing to come out of the Kingdom of Liver.
The rest is not worth considering.

If you love the Beatles, you have to appreciate Liverpool FC as well. Comes with the territory.

You sounds exactly like City fans, whatever makes you feel better I guess.

.Yeah, dismissing some dude online who made up a claim and is literally the only source of all the asthmatic nonsense is the same as dismissing 115 charges. What's your take on Ferguson having refs in his pocket for 20 years? Are you going to sound exactly like city fans in a moment?

We finished 8 points ahead of them last season. Yet they are the ones who will win the league this year.

Shameful from our club

You have to.

I think you do. Secretly.
Not as much as the sleepless nights, gnashing of teeth and daily rivers of tears Sir Alex gave all the Kingdom for 26 years.
