No VVD today, injured with a thigh strain.
Typical
No VVD today, injured with a thigh strain.
VVD played one game and you are already saying he is a good buy? Wow..
And for the rest, yeah is better. The table doesn't lie.
Yep those 3 points make all the difference..
It was a cup game.

Neither, just injured. You’re in danger of becoming s conspiracy theorist.Bottled it
Injury prone? Or being protected..

I think you miss read my post. The other guy was saying Liverpool’s transfers were inferior than UTD’s and said the table doesn’t lie. I said the 3 points hardly proves the point.
Shite. I was hoping for van Dijk to play and get exposed for what he is.
Players pick up injuries all the time. Van Dijk is making you irrational.Hes picked up a thigh strain in training days before his biggest test? Another Liverpool fan was advocating not playing him as it could be too much..
Bottle gone!

Lovren against City...yay.
Since when was a thigh strain mysterious? Not really. Mysterious injury. Klopp protecting him from being shown up? Smells that way.

I’ll remember that next time a United player has a thigh injury before a big game. It's the classic non injury isn't it? Just enough to miss a game but non descript enough to be insignificant.

I wanted to see him play today. I think there was some joy to be had from set pieces against City, and Van Dijk was looking decent at attacking them against Everton.
Apparently Klopp doesn't believe he is fit enough for the likes of City yet and is using the "Injury" line to cover it
What Liverpool fans, where, when? I wanted him to play.Remind me when we break the world record for a defender then keep him out of harms way in arguably his biggest test of price tag..
Funny how Liverpool fans were suggesting he shouldn't play to protect him and now he's mysteriously injured?
I have a feeling he won't start the ManCity game. He's a very good player, but it will take time for him to settle.
Not only he has to adapt to how we play, others have to adapt to him. He's commanding, and I bet some particular Lovrens, or anybody else, may not like a new guy shouting orders at them after being 2 days in a club.
But I'd like him to start, he'll be unplayable for City in the air and could probably upset them more often than he did with Everton.
That’s one.
That’s one.
Let’s just agree to disagree, otherwise we’ll be at this all day. There's many more..
Word has it Klopp is protecting him.

There's no conspiracy. We brought Ox in and despite him wanting more game time we rested him for four or five matches. Injury wasn't used as an excuse even after the pelters everyone threw at Klopp, even from Liverpool fans. That was a harder transfer to justify than getting a much needed class CB in early.
If Klopp wants to give VvD the same settling in rest period then he doesn't need to justify it to fans or media. We're not winning the league and top four is wide open regardless of what happens today. Personally I'm hoping it's mind games and VvD shows up - but that's just wishful thinking.
Hahaha ! Because Klopp would naturally rather risk losing 3 points than gamble on that. Someone send Religion a roll of tin foil !Not really. Mysterious injury. Klopp protecting him from being shown up? Smells that way.
@Klopper76 You need a can of this when Religion is in a Liverpool thread (which seems to be most of the time) :Remind me when we break the world record for a defender then keep him out of harms way in arguably his biggest test of price tag..

He he. You've developed a resilience to this treatment having trolled the Caf for years.
I learnt from the best.
