Sounds like an ideal replacement for Daley Blind.....who.......we................never.................rep.........................never mindGreat player, passing even better than Timber. Great reading of the game, super agile, good on the ball but he is slower and shorter.
Are we just targeting the whole of Ajax's squad... perhaps next it will be Haller
What is with Ten Hag's obsession with midget defenders
Almost like journalists read the cafe and decide to make their stories from there. If people were already in uproar over Timber's height, I wonder how they'll feel about his even shorter partner
4d chessMaybe it forces the board to sign a goalkeeper that is better at Corners?
He is, very similar in qualities. Blind is a better passer between the lines, a bit taller and a better reader.Sounds like an ideal replacement for Daley Blind.....who.......we................never.................rep.........................never mind
Depends a lot on the play style but personallyI have been wanting him for ages. Im more for this than timber personally.
This gives us a Left footed CB and a player that can play at CDM & LB too.
its 3 weaknesses in one even if its just cover, it improves the squad.

mate, rate in order of opinion - De Ligt, Martinez, Schurrs, timber, Botman
Amsterdam is a more interesting and historic city I think and a 'nicer' place to live. Culturally richer too.For well travelled Mancunian/Match going fans. Would you rather live in Amsterdam or Manchester? I’ve enjoyed both cities a lot but I would say Amsterdam is a better city on my limited knowledge of the two.
You do realize that Amsterdam is both bigger and has more population than Manchester right?Amsterdam is a more interesting and historic city I think and a 'nicer' place to live. Culturally richer too.
Manchester is a bit bigger, dirtier but has a real energy and a very strong passion for football. And has some very nice places to live around its outskirts.
I don't think so if you count their full conurbations. You do realize that Amsterdam is both bigger and has more population than Manchester right?

I think centre back heights are a bit redundant these days. The days of the hulking six foot plus striker are somewhat unfashionable now.
As long as his leap is good, it’s all fine to be honest.
He is, very similar in qualities. Blind is a better passer between the lines, a bit taller and a better reader.
Martinez is much quicker, better dribbler, more agile and might have a better long pass than Blind even (Blind's long passing is great, think of van Persie).
Thanks @AjaxCunian YouTube only shows some of the gifts of a footballer. Really think we have missed a player like Blind. As you say, he could break the lines with his passing. He is, very similar in qualities. Blind is a better passer between the lines, a bit taller and a better reader.

then you also have to look at the Greater Amsterdam area, twice as big, but less populationI don't think so if you count their full conurbations.
The local authority District of Manchester is only about half a million, but that's only an artificial designation. The actual city is 1-1.5 million depending on where you see the boundaries. The full Greater Manchester area is almost 3 million.
I think the square km of a city is not really how most people measure them... But let's split the difference and say they are of similar size.then you also have to look at the Greater Amsterdam area, twice as big, but less population
