Soon as we dropped the ball straight up I thought out like 'this is going to be a huge boost for the Lions if they scored here'.

We've fecked a couple of half chances that you really need to take at this level. Smith getting injured didn't help.
 
What the feck Australia? Take a 3 every now and then.
 
We just look like a fecking rugby league team when we spread it from set pieces. Nobody confident enough to go forward wiht the ball it's all "JUST feckING SPREAD IT ASAP". Awful.

O'connor a fecking horrendous defender, shocking kicker but his footwork and foot speed on the shimmy is fecking superb. Good try, twat of a bloke though.
 
Australia with the try on halftime to close the gap right up. Some fairly weak tackling from the lions

It's really odd on the telly here there is this play by play ad for a bunch of Wallaby test players to get to the bar and get a few pints for themselves (finishing with a toast). The same players that get absolutely crucified in the media if they are on the turps doing anything lary..

fecking bizarre that is, actually.

That was hardly Sexton's fault. Phillips went charging into a tackle he was never going to win, leaving Sexton with too much to do.

Real shame for the Lions that they conceded right on half time, but if you'd offered me a 19-10 lead going into the second half, I'd have taken it immediately. And I'd rather the Wallabies scored that try just before half-time when the Lions can regroup, than just after it when the Aussies would take all the momentum and have it for the entire second half.

Yeah Phillips diving in left Sexton high and dry. Sexton possibly could have for better, but ultimately it was Phillips who made the mistake.

Well it comes from a point of complete objectivity/ignorance. I just think it seems a bit cowardly in comparison with the rest of the game. You really are not putting your body on the line quite as much as someone else's? Again, it's an opinion with no real thought or knowledge behind it.
 
Massive start. This is kind of what happened in the first half, hopefully we can use this momentum.
 
Our centers are just so fecking light in defence. Absolutely no chances to turn the ball over created.

I love the way Beale just steps a man and injects some pace into things.

Still the lineout throw went straight onto the chest of the first receiver and if thats straight then that wasn't forward. :lol:
