I can't believe you just engaged with that at face value!!!
What's the fun if you take these arguments too seriously?

I've just been mindfecked
You were arguing Messi is a better AM than Ronaldo, and I've made a valid argument that Ronaldo would be better at a number of positions than Messi.
It still doesn't change the fact that both are best as forwards.
I'm not talking about how many positions they can play but which one has more attributes as an overall player to hurt a team, and that has to be Messi in my opinion of course.
no point talking about goal keeping when you can tell they'll both be shite at it
Not this season tbf. Ronaldo has been creating loads and working had. Unfortunately for him he has the likes of Benzema wasting his passes upfront. Honestly this season thus far there's been little to separate them. Things will get even better for Ronaldo now that Adebayor and Kaka are in the starting 11.is that the only criteria to judge a player?
Messi beats way more people, creates more, has a less shot to goal ratio and works harder for the team
Actually I've already made my stance clear on may occasions:
Ronaldo was clearly better 06/07 & 07/08;
Messi was better 08/09 & 09/10.
As for 10/11, I don't think Messi has been better than Ronaldo, similar number of goals despite playing for a much better team.
The Messi wank*est could be over in a few weeks if Arsenal somehow pull it off (which I don't think they will).
However, Ronaldo could be a great defender, he certainly has the physique.

This year its the one who will bag the most team trophies between that will bag world player of the year. Because individually both players have been something else.
Very TrueTo be fair to Ronaldo, he could have just kept on dominating the league in England and that 'titles' bit that decides it would have usually come down to just the CL. But he's taken a fair bit of risk by going to Madrid because clearly he's at a bit of a disadvantage.

There is distance between the two, but it's not like we're comparing Ronaldo and Heskey.
Obviously though, they can be quite easily seperated.

Really? We all know Ronaldo can dive, massive frame, good ball control, kicks with either foot, good reflexes? He has all the ingredients to be our next number 1.
And who better to send up for corners when you desperately need a goal in the 90th minute?
I'm going to fecking spaz out on your mongle trons in a minute.
HOW MANY TIMES. THERE IS A THREAD FOR THIS YOU BASTARDS.
I don't understand. Is it something to do with talking exclusively about Messi and Ronaldo and positions they play in, as a forward, winger, attacking midfielder, even a goalfeckingkeeper that turns you lot into half-bred, visually-impaired, stat-mongering, gigantic cock-jugglers?
Use the correct thread before I go mental on your god damn accounts.
As for shot accuracy, I've already explained my point, it counts for nothing if it doesn't result in more goals. If Ronaldo takes a shot from 30 yards whilst Messi tried to dribble past 4 players. Whilst Ronaldo's shot was off target and Messi gets crowded out, why should that count against Ronaldo?
Both Messi's dribble end in more assists than Ronaldos endless amounts of flopped shots. And he's in the build up for other goals a lot more than Ronaldo is too, so that's an abysmal comparison really.
I ain't downplaying how good Ronaldo is, any other era and he'd be top dog, unfortunately, he plays in the Messi era.
Has he scored on British soil yet?
so youare not impressed with his goal scoring ?
Answer my question. Rather than avoiding it by claiming I think this or that about Messi.if you think Messi is only about goals you're missing everything
The same way I find it strange that Ronaldo has never scored a team Messi has lined up in.
deny Lionel Messi at your peril
people would end up looking as stupid as they did last year
Is it? Kindly remind me when Ronaldo scored a team with Messi in it.Do you also find it false, seeing as that's bullshít?

I just find it strange if it is true that he hasn't done so yet. The same way I find it strange that Ronaldo has never scored a team Messi has lined up in. Those a are strange things for men who score at the rate those 2 do.
Well Inter did it and did it quite well. In fact he was virtually useless for two whole games.
last year when the match finished 2-2 a the emirates
some of the same faces I'm seeing now were saying Messi is ovverated ans useless etc
3 weeks later they were silent
silent waiting for the next time he will slip up
they will be silent again
pulling out their hair waiting for the next time he slips up
it's a never ending cycle, but that's what happens when you're the best by FAR
I'm not saying Messi is overrated, simply that he can be stopped. We saw tonight that he's struggling because he keeps getting played over and over again. Thats almost 3 full games in less then a week.
