1m per week. Bloody hell. That is just what they are officially paying him.
Ah, I see.He refused to take the #10 offered by Neymar so took #30 because he started his career with this number

He took a challenge by joining the current 7 times in a row Serie A champions?
PSG recruited players AFTER the beginning of this fiscal year, they didn't unlock more budget last year, they basically have a whole year to find revenues to offset any increase in expenses, with a full stadium, transfers, new partnerships etc. Also, the club earned 126M by reaching the CL final 2 seasons ago and 112M for this year's semi final.
They always have fans in the stands though.
That's their normal affluence, they are at 99%.
ADM was one of our best players before his form took a nose dive with the robbery and all that.
Messi would shit all over this league
He's joining PSG as he has friends there, they're a much better prospect than any team here that would have probably been interested and it's a beautiful city for someone who has a settled family. Plus the money of course.
What a fecking team though, if they don't win the CL now, they never will

Of course. That's £75 million over 2 years.
You've already spent way more than that (plus whatever wages Sancho & Varane are on) this summer.
You could absolutely afford to pay crazy wages, you just don't want to (and that's perfectly reasonable).
Yes, a year after they had reduced revenue. So again, we ask...where did this injection of revenue immediately come from enabling them to fund these players? Signing on fees and agent fees are tremendous expenses that are immediate payments.
And how can PSG earn 112M from this year's semi final when Chelsea and City earned about 74M before Chelsea won, which would have maxed them out at around 100M?

You don't need revenues to fund that, you can just get short term loans from banks, open lines of credit, issue securities etc. until you receive some money, companies do that all the time. Your mixing up revenues with available cash.
As for what PSG earned for their CL final, i didn't invent it :

Yeah it’s a no brainer too be fair. Obviously he wont be judged on the league but the CL like Neymar.Earn a shitload, play for a stacked team whose undisputed star player is already a huge friend and admirer, play for a coach that knows you, in an easy league that could prolong yout career, while living in Paris.....
It's not exactly a hard choice...
Yeah but they very rarely sell out though. I've always seen empty seats at their games.

Uniteds Instagram currently has 42.2m
PSG with 41.2m
Let’s see how much M€$$i makes them leapfrog us.
why do you feel the need to lie to justify oil/gas money pumped into the deal?PSG recruited players AFTER the beginning of this fiscal year, they didn't unlock more budget last year, they basically have a whole year to find revenues to offset any increase in expenses, with a full stadium, transfers, new partnerships etc. Also, the club earned 126M by reaching the CL final 2 seasons ago and 112M for this year's semi final.
Why is Messi no.30?

According to UEFA, over €2 billion was distributed to the clubs who participated in the 2019-20 tournament, with the winning team eligible to take home as much as €82,400,000 in total prize money
the runner ups earn 78m. semi finalists earn about 60m. Dont make up numbers.
not even close, That is the salary of Luke shaw+ Magiure+Bruno+DDG+Pogba all together.Close to the salary DDG + Sanchez got. I wonder what the best investment is. (PS : nobody knows what the real salary is, i've seen different figures all day).
We know jersey's are just a little part of the increased revenues. Even if PSG sells 300 000 Messi jersey (totally doable), PSG would only make around 9M.
There's no surprise it's already sold out, the stocks were probably pretty slim considering they only had a couple of days to manufacture the 1st batch.

Exactly. Add to that the football fans are so gullible when it comes to what the PR department at clubs publishes, hence why you get the jersey sale myth. Clubs can whitewash every action they make and fans lap it up, especially if it goes through journalist channels. And maybe now it will become some established truth that Messi will increase tourism to Paris by several percent.
What's funny about PSG shirt sales is that their shirt has been a hipster choice for years, regardless of players representing the club. My oldest has bought the jersey the last two years, solely because the shirt design is cool among his friends. Wonder how much that has affected the shirt sales over the years.
From what I gather, PSG are except from FFP until 2023 for some reason relating to the French League, but I have not bothered to look up and verify that so take it with a grain of salt.
PSG is of course owned by a corporate entity that for the purposes of football, has near endless funds available in QSI. QSI is a subsidiary of Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) who sits on an estimated $300+ billion USD worth of assets. QIA is owned by the State of Qatar.
For all intents and purposes, PSG is owned by Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar.
It's difficult to put numbers into a relatable scale, but as far as Leo Messis weekly wage goes, it's barely even money for these people.
But oh boy PSG needs to offload players and shed salaries very soon.
No body watches PSG.Listen, i'm pretty tired of you guys showing up with uninformed opinions and accusations of dishonesty when you're in fact only trying to make crooked facts fit your anti PSG narrative.
The figures you give are only the prize pool, at the end of the tournament UEFA ads the TV rights clubs earn according to their market share and how much viewers pay in each country. And believe it or not, a lot of people watch PSG.

I agree that it's a great move for him. There is no such thing as walking the CL with ease though. Always the potential to be knocked out. But he's playing in a team that's built for the here and now and he has a fellow countryman manager and quite a few friends already in the team with a club that pays him what he wants and his family get to swap Barcelona (amazing city) for Paris (fabulous city).
And so many of us who have hitherto not given a monkeys about the French league are getting excited to tune in to watch that lineup.
Doesn't mean that it isn't hollow, akin to City, as it most definitely is. But in terms of the football, it has to be said, it's quite an exciting prospect.
Seems you have problems with justifying a plastic club buying a new toy as a PR stunt to coverup human rights breaches.Seems you have real problems with anything related to... well, numbers, do you?
Nobody is saying they aint cnut regime, they doing similar shit as western countries in the past just with huge lag.
Arrête de les prendre pour des cons en leur balançant un article qui ne supporte aucunement ta thèse de départ.Listen, i'm pretty tired of you guys showing up with uninformed opinions and accusations of dishonesty when you're in fact only trying to make crooked facts fit your anti PSG narrative.

He may have been our best player, but he never figured out how to avoid contact with the robust tackling in England. They would put in a tackle and smash a leg on his way through, and he was so slight it was clear it had an effect on him. I think he needed to draw some yellow cards by sucking defenders into tackles, drawing enough superficial contact for a foul while avoiding getting clattered. After a few of those defenders have to back up.ADM was one of our best players before his form took a nose dive with the robbery and all that.

I agree! I’m very excited to see him in a PSG jersey and he looks great in it too!
Officially official
That was fast as hell![]()
