Well when he's finally decided to show up, he's unplayable. Owned Ronaldo today, no question.
 
The amount of doubt he gets when he's not scoring three goals a game and Ronaldo is on a good patch is shocking. He's the best we'll ever see, get that through your heads you numpties.
 
Absolutely wonderful. Hacked to pieces all game, busted lip and with barely a sniff of goal yet he won the game with both. Marvellous.

That was some goal to win the game, only place he could have scored and he found it.
 
Can't people write him off based on midweek.

Too many casual La Liga watchers who see him play 4-5 times a season and judge him based on that.

Comfortably better than Ronaldo overall.

That's a statement that a lot of people will scoff at, but it's something I've believed for some time now.

It's an intriguing question though - does the success of the Barca style/philosophy depend on having a Messi-like talent in it?
