Ligue 1 | French Football 2017/18

Cavani has some of the best movement I've seen from any striker. If he wasn't such a clumsy when finishing he would have been great instead of just very good.

His movement is sensational and you could hardly get better at that, shame for his erratic finishing though.

My commentator just mentioned that Paris players been told as communicated by management to go easy on Neymar during training sessions in terms of tackles etc., in order to protect him from any injuries. Modern football at its finest.

He's a huge investment, it would be dumb to injure him during training sessions.

Fair to say Fekir will be the next one after Laca and Tolisso to leave Lyon, great player imo, probably will go to Russia this Summer.

Being part of the French squad who goes to Russia.
 Count me in as another who thought you meant the Russian League!

I'm not so certain about him going even though I would think he'd get a fair shot just because of how good he is. I remember @Ecstatic saying that with Deschamps having his favourites, and Fekir not really being the best option on the right, there's a slim chance of him getting picked. I find that crazy. He doesn't have to be a starter but what an option to have if things aren't going as planned.

1. Yes, Deschamps have his favourites like Sissoko and Giroud.
2. Also, he's someone grateful so I would be surprised to see a player like Payet out of the WC 18 even if he isn't really performing well with Marseille.
3. Fekir has to be viewed as a central offensive player, an inside forward
4. Fekir and Deschamps have the same agent - Bernès - so Fekir will get his chance by the end of the season IMO

Fekir was called one time by Deschamps just after he recovered from his severe injury: the idea was to lift up his morale i.e. certainly a request from Bernès.

Fékir is among the favorites though, he has been selected faster than most and Deschamps called him with France when he wasn't really ready after his injury.

Selling De Preville was almost a crime against humanity for such a shit scoring team. What the hell did they expect ?

I only realized it this weekend while matching Bordeaux, it's a weird thing to do. To be honest, I don't think that they are good enough for Ligue 2, their south american wonderkids are pretty bad.

Where is @Yagami ? :)

Will be watching France to see this Fekir everyone is raving about.

We could do with a #10.

Dani Alves... what a player. 34yo and still brilliant.

15 minutes in and already 2 assists that would make even the greatest number 10s ever proud.

Just saw the score sheet in the PSG game. Pastore! What a forgotten player he is, what a wasted talent.
