Ligue 1 | French Football 2017/18

Feel sorry for Metz they were right in it before the red

They should have even been up 2-1 after Areola's terrible mistake. That red card changed everything, even though I feel PSG would have found a way to score regardless.

This ref is awful. Gives a red card for the Mbappe dive but then he gets hacked right in front of him and doesn't call anything. He knows he screwed up and now he's screwing up another decision to make up for the previous one.

Oh, and Cavani scores. That's 2 out of 21743 chances today, good job.

I always thought Ligue 1 level of defending was always pretty good, but from what I have seen this year it's terrible.

the red is logical
should I remind you that from behin = forbidden ? You think it's forbidden for what ? Because it's more than dangerous, no discussion.

Anyone who thinks that's even a foul should go watch a non contact sport instead.

Yeah, it's easy to judge that from the comfort of your chair and with replays slowing it down for you. I don't think it's a foul either, but it was a bit reckless. If Mbappe hadn't hit that ball forward the split second before the tackle, it would have been a red. The ref's position and the speed of the tackle made it an easy decision to get wrong.

Anyone thinking that wasn't a foul should be told we're not in the 50s anymore, we now pretend to care about the player's health

Yeah, why's everyone saying it was a dive? Looked like a bad foul to me.

EDIT: sorry, just watched it again - no foul.

Calling that a dive/no foul is even more of a joke than the red card.
Looks like Mbappe truly is a special talent, he wouldn't attract haters making up ridiculous stuff otherwise.

Imagine if he had a better efficiency, he would score 500 goals per season

Hatem Ben Arfa’s lawyer to lodge appeal against PSG

Hatem Ben Arfa’s lawyer is set to appeal to LFP’s legal committee on Friday with the intention of having his client reinstated into PSG training, according to L’Équipe.

Jean-Jacques Bertrand, Ben-Arfa’s agent, supposedly turned up at PSG’s headquarters on Thursday demanding to speak with Nasser Al-Khelaïfi (president), Jean-Claude Blanc (deputy CEO), and Antero Henrique (sporting director).

L’Équipe state that all three were absent at the time, however when contacted on Thursday, Bertrand did not confirm such reports.

You can see the exagerration though

The right subtle communication to influence a referee that has to protect offensive players nowadays

# Part of the Game # Serie A approves

What has Serie A got to do with it ? I believe PSG would have won anyway but Kylian acted like a cheat, it wouldn't be a sin to admit it you know. It can be healthy not to be narrow minded.

You overreact.

I simply think there is a physical contact so the defender commits a fault.

Only Kylian himself can say whether he has been badly hurt or not. Who are we to say he hasn't suffered at a point in time?

That said, every day, you can see players (Griezmann, Cristiano...) dramatising their pain.

If you do consider Kylian as a cheater, then you should also consider 50% of the football players as cheaters.
