Barca a different proposition with Pedri and De Jong back in midfield, lovely footballers to watch.

Atlético are closer to us but I still want Barcelona to lose this, is only one goal still so at least I hope they can manage to get a draw.

Routine win for Barca, only geriatric Lewa prevented it from being comfortable too, by at least a couple of goals.

Inexplicable that Xavi plays him 90 minutes week in and week out. Victor Roque is coming in Janruary but it won't matter if Xavi is too stubborn to bench Lewy.

Betis 0 - 1 Real Madrid

Bellingham with the goal.

We have been lacking. No options on the bench either.

Guys, what happened at Granada? Play stopped and I don’t really see an explanation. Medical situation in the stands?

Fan died after a heart attack.

Barca 0-1 down to Girona. Slow game so far.

That goal was coming. He'd already come close twice. Well deserved lead for Girona.

Girona is an impressive side, great stuff they are playing.

I missed our game against them and this is the first time I’ve seen them play. Can understand why they are at the top of the table going by this game.

Great positioning and passing sequences. They could’ve scored 4-5 times. Defensively they don’t look that impressive though.

It looks like defending got worse (or harder?) in all big leagues somehow?

I didn't expect this.

Girona are a very good side.

Girona are the real deal, sensational stuff from them once more.

People only started taking Leicester seriously when they won 3-1 away to Man. City in Feb 2015 (myself included). This is a similar result.

I'm all for someone other than the usual two winning the league but Girona are associated with City so fook them

Another example what good club structure can do for a team.

I mean, they're owned by City Group, and Pep's brother has been the chairman there since forever; and also, apparently they take regular trips to Manchester (obviously to watch us) and tap into the City Groups same scouting network that delivers transfer targets for City.

It's a nightmare because there's a very real situation down the line that Girona become part of the big three and make it a big four, and if City is any example, Girona find themselves financially competing for the same signatures as Barca and Real. Not that there's anything wrong with seeing competition to Barca and Real, but if City group manage to leverage any short term success from Girona into "sponsorship" money then they could turn into another City, but in La Liga, which isn't good.

Not only that but Guardiola's brother is the CEO of Girona haha

Girona playing like a mix of 1970 and 1982 Brazil.

This all are fair points into question but I'm still enjoying them beating Barcelona.

I have the slightest soft spot for Real Madrid because of how much they helped us after the Munich air disaster (offering us Di Stefano and their 1958 European Cup aside from all the friendlies arranged) but them making me route for Barca is something else.

Miguel Gutierrez is so good.

Why did we have to sell him?

Why did we have to sell him?

At least, since he plays for Girona, we can probably get him back.
Hakimi, on the other hand...nobody escapes PSG.

Can’t we buy him back for like 12mil or something? We usually have those agreements in place.

But there have been talks about getting Davies from Bayern.

A team is winning 2-3 in Barcelona´s stadium and instead of defending with all men behind the ball they go berseker mode in attack. Crazy stuff.
