Real Madrid are literally being bullied in the middle by Barca . They look so nervous and clueless . Alba and Coutinho are the standouts .
He is a great leader, probably one of the best in the games but as a defender , he is a liability.
If I was Dembele or Malcolm and saw a guy like Rafinha starting ahead of me I'd start to wonder whether that's the right club for me.

I don't know how he has been since his injury but I saw him in a game in preseason 3 yrs ago and he was awesome, brilliant trickery and dribbling. Felt he was going to be as good as someone like Coutinho.

I don't know how much contact was there and how much Suarez milked it but I would argue that is not as relevant as the fact that Suarez got the ball and Varane got the man.
They look pretty similar to last year in the league. UCL win papered over cracks, were very poor in the league.
A few believe that Dembele should play ahead of Rafinha because he's Dembele. Football doesn't work like that. It's insulting when someone like Rafinha plays superbly within the system that the manager wants (kind of like Pedro ala Guardiola) but then people question why Dembele doesn't play, even why he plays disjointed and doesn't follow instructions (even if he scores). I can absolutely see why Rafinha would play. He gets it.
They were awful in La Liga last year as well. Got trashed at home to Barca 3-0 too.
That what you re supposed to do as a striker, get ahead of the defender and force him to make contact while being behind the play.
