When you are complacent and the other team puts a lot effort in...

Congrats @PedroMendez @SfcNervion .Machín read very well the match.Several very good individual performances too.
I changed provider a few months ago and have Eleven sports for free with them here. The Spanish League is by far the most interesting to me this season. Too bad though that my cable provider has pulled Bein Sports (La Liga broadcaster here) from it's line-up and I've found it hard to find streams unless it's for Barca and Real. I either have to go to a friends house or a bar but for the games that are on before 9am in my timezone I can't even watch them.
What's the consensus on Pablo Machin? Looks like he is doing a good job at Sevilla.
Thanks. Machin is great.
If bale scores the 3:1, this match might have ended differently. Overall too many Madrid players with no interest at all. Appalling body language and effort. Kroos was hiddious.
Maybe I rush but it does not look good for Lopetegui.Thanks. Machin is great.

I like him a lot. Loved what he did at Girona last season.
Haven't seen Sevilla huge amount this season but been pretty inconsistant, were horrible at home to Getafe then went and beat Levante 6-1 although that was a hugely flattering scoreline.
From memory they do like playing Madrid at home, game few years back when Jovetic scored last minute winner and also knocked Madrid out of the cup.
La Liga certainly interesting now. Not a surprise to me Real Madrid weaker as teams just won't fear them as much without Ronaldo. Wheels coming off Barca aswell which again dosen't shock me as their level by their standards wasn't amazing last season despite nearly going unbeaten during the season.
Barca will be much better this season, still early days and Dembélé and Coutinho for a full season along with Arthur will be great in the long term.
Very very silly to write teams off 5 games into the season
there's definitely some of that alreadyCan't say I am surprised. Lopetegui isn't even top 5 amongst La Liga coaches. Of course they can still win things based on the amount of individual quality they have, nothing to do with having or not Ronaldo. At Porto he always made strange decisions, like starting to switch lineups already at the start of the season and always a mechanic football to watch imo.
One time he changed 11 players after they trashed Bate Borisov 6:0 against Boavista at home. Of course they didn't won that match, particularly in Portugal when 14 or 15 teams play with a low block unlike Spain. He has good ideas but he is not amongst the best in Spain imo. Prepare a lot for rotations regardless how the team is playing.there's definitely some of that already
The problem tonight though was that we stayed in Madrid and the game was in Sevilla. Hard to do well when you don't show up......

Mucho salero. Or as Camacho used to say "Salir a gañar"As famosas rotaciones
I was applying the principle it took until game 37 for Barca to lose last season and it's already happened in week 6.
Still favourites for the league though I agree.

Camacho what is the history of salir a ganar?Mucho salero. Or as Camacho used to say "Salir a gañar"
Indeed. But bare in mind that the current Real and Barça squads already have some of the world best players. Yes, Atletico won 4-2, but after ET. Still a win, though.
I do think Atletico will be up there, because I know in first hand the ability of Lopetegui as a manager. (aka as Lo Patego or Flopetegui in Portugal, because he had the most expensive squad Porto ever had at his disposal and won nill, and Porto even hired players he asked who costed fortunes like Oliver Torres and the one dimensional winger Adrian).
A lot of ball possesion and lack of end product will make Real Madrid draw several games.
There should be a Lopetegui sack watch thread. Just saying

Fornals is an amazing player. I'm surprised no English team tried to snatch him in the summer. His style of play is reminiscent of Riquelme.
He's still only 22 years old and had 13 assists last season in La Liga.
It was his mantra always when the media made him questions regarding Benfica when they were going to face someone "Vamos salir a ganãr" after the game "Buscamos sempre salir a gañar" if the team played badly "salir a gañar"Camacho what is the history of salir a ganar?
I asked because he is a very particular character, and there are many jokes with him. It was logical that he left his mark on PortugalIt was his mantra always when the media made him questions regarding Benfica when they were going to face someone "Vamos salir a ganãr" after the game "Buscamos sempre salir a gañar" if the team played badly "salir a gañar"
What mistakes? You mean the early rotations?@carvajal His last jobs were at Equatorial Guinea and China I guess?
Anyway he really was a strong character as you say, also friend of Vieira "El Gangster" Benfica President. Anyway their fans liked Camacho, then he went to Real Madrid and well didn't worked out with Florentino. Not everything is bad, Casillas really has a good relationship with Porto, I think he will receive a important award from them. Lopetegui sometimes was unfairly treated, but he was too dogmatic and surrounded by the crap football environment we have here. But he is repeating the same mistakes at Madrid imo.
Mainly that, but imo his teams play a very mechanic style of football, if it works ok, but when he is faced with difficulties I don't know if he is adaptative enough to change the dynamics of the team. What mistakes? You mean the early rotations?
