La Liga 2017/18

La Liga refs are so thick....great game and he adds two minutes.

We have a fantastic home record though?

6 defeats at home since 2009 Besiktas, Ajax, Athletic, Cluj, Real Madrid and Sevilla.

But before that, since 1956, only 7. Juventus, Fenerbahçe, Dortmund, Real Madrid, Bayern, Deportivo and Milan, and the first one happened in 1996, I remember being a kid in the 90's that the idea of watching United lose at Old Trafford was like watching Halley's comet

Messi is on a throne by himself, what an incredible comeback by Barca and what an absolute screamer from Messi, my word

You know you're in deep sh*te when Muriel scores against you.

Messi even won the ball off a Sevilla counter deep inside Barca's half, which lead to the corner & 2-1.

Messi is incredible. Barcelona might not be as exciting to watch as they used to be,but I find myself tuning in to their matches to watch him. We better appeciate him while he's still playing because it's easy to find yourself taking what he does for granted.

same here. I couldn't care less about Barca and I thought I was going to hate them forever after those 2 defeats in CL finals, but I just can't help myself. I watch them whenever I can and Messi is almost like drug - 90 minutes of him is just not enough.

What's with Barca and international breaks, they always seem to lose momentum after international breaks.

I'm like that with Federer, even if he's playing someone 200 in the world I have to watch it.

This is just unbelievable! This Barca side literally refuse to lose. It was probably their worst game of the season. Seville could have easily won 5-0 and no one would have complained, instead they drew 2-2. That Messi's goal was just out of his world.

Was it Denis Suarez? Who was it trying to shoot the ball when messi was lining up to score? These kids never know when to get out the way

That is a major part of why the mid table teams stay mid table in most leagues in my opinion. The finishing and lack of quality in the final third is so jarring to watch. So many times they were 3 on 2 and 4 on 3 on the break and they wouldn't lift up their heads for the better options. Should really have been 4-0 by the 70th minute.

Or was it the Sevilla players refusing to score 1v1? Messi came in and changed their whole attack instantly, which shows how ordinary this Barca side is without Messi to be honest.

Have Messi in your team is like cheating. In a normal match was a 4-0 win easy for Sevilla, but they waste all that chances and Messi can change a match with a single play. What a player.

Busquets was out as well which is a major loss for Barca.

Messi is the god of football but even without him they aren’t as bad as we saw today.

Atletico never change...hanging on at home to a 1-0 against the worst Depor team in last 25 years.

Unlucky Deportivo today. Played a good game, but they are just too poor to stay up. The penalty looked very soft though.

I think that 2-2 draw is good news for Roma too. away game at Nou Camp is already bad enough, but I think it would be even worse if Barca was under pressure to bounce back with convincing win. think it'll be "just" 2:0 or 3:1 now.

They deserve it, play glorious football and been involved in most of the matches of the season.

Edit: Betis always remind me of Newcastle a bit. Had a fantastic mid 90s team (Alfonso, Finidi George, Prats in goal etc) then started getting carried away and making silly statements signings like Denilson and since then they've been an up and down team. Some years making CL then two years later getting relegated and so on.

Would be good to see them in europe again and come out of the shadow of Sevilla a little.

Deportivo (19th) are drawing Malaga (20th) 2-2 at Riazor, both Malaga goals scored by Diego Rolan, who scored 3 goals in all the season and its set to join Deportivo in 18' summer

Adrian and Lucas Perez finally turned up this season.

Four months late.

This week there was a lot of talk about Futre because he visited his plaque in the Metropolitano for the first time
, he was also at el Chiringuito talking about Cristiano and in Marca, where he talked about the signing of Figo for Madrid.
For what he said Figo did not want to go, perhaps he did not expect the victory of Florentino (who had lost the previous elections) and had no other way out since there was a clause to compensate Madrid

This was Futre in the derbies. Costa is a little princess compared to him

So ZZ saying that Real Madrid not doing el Pasillo if Barcelona are Champions of Spain in the fixture of the Clásico.

Well, i think Barcelona only have to conform with winning their seven ligue title in the last 10 years.

Sevilla are woeful away from home in la Liga, think that was their 10th defeat today.
