La Liga 2017/18

How the heck did we get beat off Seville? I mean seriously how did it happen? Getting beat 2-0 at a team with nothing to play for. So disappointed.

Leganes ad for this week's match at the, "Theatre of Dreams - or at least of ours".

Leganes hold on, and that's probably their place in La Liga safe for another year.

And we lost to this shit. And then Jose says how great Sevilla are, sod off.

In fairness, Leganes have great La Liga heritage. Playing in the first division since 2016.

I think the distance with Levante is too much.
Depor would need a miracle.
Depor were considered in the past a "equipo ascensor"(an elevator team),jumping from primera to segunda in a short time, but this time will be really difficult.
Hopefully they won't collapse in segunda, ending up like Hércules, Elche or Murcia.
I think I would sack Seedorf to try with someone like David Vidal

A manager that still has to win a game in La Liga, a defender that has been probably the worst in his team, costing a bunch of points, and a goal to draw against a team 1 point ahead, at home, when Levante puts two more on them in the fight for relegation, extra merit for them allegedly (that's what I've read) sharing agent, which would explain how a guy that makes a mistake that ends in a goal once per game keeps playing despite not being brilliant in any other things.

And they still have the face to reivindicate themselves

Feck off Sevilla.

Shit team, defended for their lives against us.

And yes I know we were more shit, but still. Getting beaten by Leganes. Fecking hell.

They didn't really. You didn't attack them.

I know, I'm clutching at straws here. :D

Anything to make me feel better and our shitshow of a performance :(

That defender Lenglet did look like prime Cannavaro, or we made him look like that. Same with Ben Yedder channeling his inner Messi. Anyway, normality resumes.

Jose should be looking at that and feeling embarassed of himself and the way he set up the team that day. Absolutely diabolical this

Does he want to buy any Leganes players now?

Leganes beat Real Madrid in the cup recently, they're not that bad.

9 away defeat for the season in La Liga for Sevilla though.

I know the feeling. I've been feeling genuinely shit since Barca thrashed us! :(

At least you came out of that performance with some credit. You hit the woodwork numerous times and managed a creditable draw in the first leg.

No shame in losing to a team with Messi, and managing the same number of goals as we did against Sevilla over two legs.

There is, however, shame in a 90 million star midfielder being dicked by N'Zonzi.

5th place in La Liga sounds nice.

But -7 GD. Miles (12 points) behind the 4th placed team (Real), with Villarreal, Girona and Betis breathing down their necks (1-2 points behind). Lost the last 2 league games. 6 out of 15 points from the last 5 games.

Thats their level, Villarreal, Girona, Betis. They can easily end up 7th or 8th at the end of the season. And we managed to look completely out of depth in 2 games against them.

 I didn't know they share agent, and Muntari-who missed the goal-to complete the triumvirate.
This week was pitiful, with the mayor and the president meeting with the team, and they with the face of "we don't give a shit".
Then the Blues singing "Lucas Selección" during the game
I think it's the worst run of Depor at primera

It's ridiculous how one sided this game has been, won't be surprised if this finishes 7 or 8 nil.

I don't get why, it's not like you have anything to play for the rest of this season
Just how it seems sometimes. He quite often leaves Aduriz out away from home. Not as though we have europe to think about or getting into europe to think about. As you say you would think we would give it a go. Valverde might have done.

Maybe they are wanting to make sure Valverde gets his title. Sigh!:(

Gorgeous goal by Messi, hilarious celebration.

He’s been spending too much time with Yerry Mina

Athletic players are heating up Messi, they'll never learn

If Barcelona were half as clinical as they were against Chelsea this would be 7-0 at half time

Such a joy to watch Messi play. I try to watch every minute of every match he plays because when he is gone I don't want to regret not having watched him more.

Dembele is a fantastic talent. If he becomes more clinical in the final third with age he will be unstoppable.

Only watched last 15 but it's been all Bilbao, Barca dropping off and giving the ball away from the edge of the box.
