Also, damn, i'd forgotten how good a fully fit Bale firing on all cylinders can be

You jinxed it for yourself.
Said this many times, as a RB he's one of the best in the world, as a LB he's decent, as a CB he's not good enough to be 3rd choice for usI don't think it's really a "jinx" if I actually believe it (not the BdO thing, but that he constantly improves).
He's the kind of player I love to have in my team, and he looks like a Real Madrid kind of player, at least the Real I knew from years ago, before the galactico era.
I can't think of any other player who's proved pseudo-intellectual football nerds on the internet more than Bale in the last few years. Also, damn, i'd forgotten how good a fully fit Bale firing on all cylinders can be

Definitely a player we should keep, but not in his current role
Deportivo, with the worst goalkeepers in La Liga, and playing Aldo One (youth prospect with games in the 3rd division and only 90 minutes of experience for the first team) seem like the best sacrifice Real Madrid could ask to reignite their squad this month until the game vs PSG.
I can easily see Real scoring 8 today with Ronaldo getting "back on form" with a poker, Las Palmas might be the worst defensive team stat-wise due to their disconnection in blowouts, but Deportivo defense are worse on a consistent basis, and this could be a massacre without Sidnei, their best defender by far.
If Real fail to get an easy win today I'd totally write them off for the UCL tie.
That Ronaldo dive right before Bale's goal.
We're on 7, Ronaldo has 2 but missed a couple of clear cut chances, I feel more than vindicated .
But I guess this also means they're going to be competitive vs PSG, damn.
I don’t think a match against one of the worst teams in La Liga means they will be ready for PSG. Real looked pretty bad in that first half, PSG should run riot against that Madrid defense.
We really didn't, and this has been a pretty standard performance for us at home this season. The only difference between today, Villarreal, Valencia, Betis, Tottenham, has been our finishingI don’t think a match against one of the worst teams in La Liga means they will be ready for PSG. When I constantly say in here that we should punish teams more when they are done I get ridiculed. "Why waste energy" is what i always hear back.
These are the games/scores that buy fear and respect from opponents.

If we start finishing at a normal rate, we're still very much one of the 5-6 best teams in the world, and we'd absolutely have a chance against PSG
Yeah, PSG are better than us and they also are a bad matchup for us, but we're not a shite team, we haven't been shite all season at all, our problem has been finishing, simple as that
Poor Depor. My friends expected a tough result,Depor paying the consecuences of Madrid crisis, but 7 are too much.
Terrible performance,as usual.I think that they have enough squad to stay in Primera although nothing is working.
They bought a GK,Koval and a right back from Athletic.
Expensive goalkeeper, although It was a must to bring someone.Koval is a 1.8M loan fee for 6 months, on a player that lost his spot in Kiev... I think that's an awful move for them. Boveda looked "ok" for Eibar because that was a hard working and well polished team, I doubt he's going to be good for Deportivo at their current state.
If something is going to save them is the front 3 + Çolak hitting good form for some games, beyond that everyone is hopeless except Sidney, the only defensive player salvageable
Yeah right... The same Utd full of greedy players ? Or the Utd that miss many chances per game ? Our players aren't clinical enough for a display. It's probably hard to punish a team like this in the EPL, Deportivo are not only bad, they're chewing through their 3rd coach in barely a year, their "Football director" just got sacked, a bad squad defensive-wise, fielded a 24 y/o defender that plays in the third division today in the Bernabeu and are again on a negative spiral after their new coach (without top level experience) effect lasted just a couple games.
United could put 7 on Deportivo without actually even trying.
