Athletico Madrid one up against Bilbao inside of three minutes, Koke with a cross from the left edge of the box, finding the far corner, Greizmann almost getting a touch but Koke gets his third of the campaign.

Los Liones slow out the gates, come on boys.

Half way through the season and Atlético might end up outside the CL spots

yep. thats possible, but who is going to finish ahead of them? Villarreal is bottling it lately and La Real is imo not consistent enough. They certainly lost some of their spark so. I blame Griezmann's shitty hair.

Ituraspe might have seriously hurt himself by doing a pretty nasty foul.

San Mames looks amazing.

Great game tho, Gimenez is a fekin pitbull, Griezmann with fantastic effort and De Marcos that can play literally any position in the team ffs!

Nah, la liga is way to competetive to make that claim so early.

I guess that's sarcasm, so yeah, surely you had a lot of money in Sevilla being 2nd 1 point behind Madrid, Atletico 4th 7 points behind Sevilla, Real Sociedad with the same points as Atletico and Valencia 15th fighting to avoid relegation

It's not.

And that, ladies and gents, is the most classic Luis Suarez goal you will ever see.

I think Real Sociedad has a real chance of getting top 4 and actually they should be 2 or 3 points ahead of Atlético because some bad ref decisions against them. At the same time I think Atlético still has one of the best squads and should be enough for them to finish 3rd at the very least but they need to start catching up soon.

Villareal and Granada are playing now.
1-0 Villareal at HT. Doubt Granada are staying up this season. They are "the spanish Sunderland".
2-0 FT for Villareal.

Atletico to play Alaves now.
0-0 HT.
0-0 FT. Atletico suffer a blow in their race for the top 4.
