That's how I felt about them pre-Simeone, always bent over for Madrid but got results against us. Now the tide has turned, Luis Enrique hasn't lost a La Liga game against them I believe. Huge result even with our non-existing midfield, I love Andres but he can't play 90 mins anymore. Messi needs to stop walking around the pitch, honestly is it bad conditioning or just laziness? Pisses me off how little effort he shows sometimes.

I know and that's why I usually never complain but I remember him performing exactly like this (without a goal) in a CL semi against Atletico, extremely frustrating for such a player. I reckon someone like Sampaoli can stoke a fire in him so he doesn't do it.

He is probably fed up with Luis Enrique. I know the two don't get along well.
 
I tell you there's something very strange about this.

When they play Real they give their all and then some. They run like possessed, they kick and slide, but when it's Barca, it's always the same old. No usual "Simeone aggression", very polite, very careful not to even touch Messi, Neymar or Dracula.

Hopefully La Real can somehow get to 4th and send them back to mediocrity where they belong.

Nah, they play barca as hard as they play us, it's just their finishing goes to shit and they always seem to concede some stupid/dumb goal
 
I am quite scared of Madrid ruining la liga. Now Barsa can focus 100℅ in the competition(I assume that are out of C.L)
I wouldn't like to play in Balaídos in May needing the three points to win the title.It could become in something like Tenerife years ago.
Luckily el clásico is in Madrid but we need to win today.

I just don't see it like that. Feels to me like they want it more against us the these last few years. They are more aggressive, they hack and make cynical fouls all the time..

Yet when it comes to winning the Champions League they show one of their worst versions. They probably would change some of their better displays (Cup final, the league thrashing) for a 1-0 and a UCL title

Under Simeone, it's mostly been this way - they rarely play clean, always a street brawl like their coach was famous for as a player. Gabi should never make it to the end of a match without being sent off, same can be said for Filipe

Lahoz tried his best to yet again steal points but Messi #LuchoOut

Garitano has been sacked.It seems that now the favorite is Pepe Mel.The first option was Martín Lasarte but its impossible since is training Nacional

Jesus Christ! What's up with Atletico Madrid's horrendous league form against Barca? It's been more than 7 years since they beat Barca in La Liga. I wasn't even aware about this until I looked it up. Surprising to see considering how they knocked out Barca a fair few times in the Champions League.
