Nice goal by Caicedo there, great pass by Sergio García.
I don't agree with any of that. Not supposed to isn't a phrase that sits well with me in football. It's unlikely for them to win the league but of course it isn't impossible. La Liga, if any league, has shown that time and time again. Real and Barca have always been head and shoulders and tits above the rest but it's still not a duopoly. With their salary structure compared to that of Real and Barca and other top clubs in other countries, they aren't even supposed to be as good as they are. If they were a great team and they'd win this way, I'd be concerned but in their case it's just a matter of maximizing their abilities.
I've seen him play with a mask before so it's definitely not the first time. I guess he's one of those guys who breaks his nose regularly.Broken nose, will probs be back next week
Alfredo Relano has wriien for AS questioning Benzema's place after yesterday's game.
Sevilla have started this season well, just about finished against Córdoba, which will take them to 10 points out of 12.
Barcelona against Levante soon, Piqué dropped again.
Barcelona are horrid to watch, far too slow and ponderous, Messi is far too deep too, seen litle of the ball yet made the most happen whenever he has had it. Should be Iniesta's job, which he hasn't been doing for the last year and a half now, hasn't got age as an excuse either like Xavi.
Looks like it'll be Suarez and Neymar up front with Messi in the no.10 role when he's back from suspension. That's four assists for him now, though he doesn't seem to be getting much of the ball and Barcelona don't look anywhere near as dangerous as they've previously been now he's no longer the target up front.
Messi's finishing has been really poor for the last year and a half... now misses a pen.
Yeh, it's odd, his general play finally looks back to its best before he got injured against PSG, the finishing has deserted him though, and playing deeper doesn't help him. Brings out his more creative side though.
and they aren't tracker backers
You can expect Suarez to work his socks off. His work rate is better than most 'star' players.
Come to think of it, isn't Neymar reknown for being a great presser of the ball for the Brasil national team?
