La Liga - 2014/15

Gerry Armstrong not understanding the offside rule is infuriating.

OK. I'll think about what I just watched later.

Meanwhile...
Hello chaps, anything happening here?

Bale out injured and Ramos scored from a Ronaldo freekick.

I'm hearing Bale - calf muscle strain - has been injured for weeks, finally injured "completely", and Ramos "offside". Is that the rest of today's story? :smirk:

Modrić off injured.

Knee injury but doesn't look that bad, more of a precaution than anything I'd guess.

Gotta be nice being Gerry Armstrong, you can say whatever you want and keep insisting you're right whilst a replay shows you're wrong.

What a goal!

Hmm. Keeper maybe could have saved it. Good build up and strike either way.

Kameni... the only GK in the world who can look both world class and sunday league in the same game :D great move and strike from James tho, lay-off by Cristiano was perfect too.

Haters?

So how highly do you rate James? I remember loads of people feeling he was a luxury and looked overawed at the start.
He's been good but I prefer a midfield 3 of Isco, Kroos and Modric.

They'll both get playing time now with Modric, Benz and Bale out.

I really like Isco. Can't we have him please?

I gues with him and James it's all about creativity vs end product, right?

James has done very well since returning from injury, and at any rate RM's issues aren't down to him specifically, they're of a tactical nature, not necessarilly related to individual players' performance levels.

Great scooped pass from Cristiano for Marcelo just now, don't see him do that... ever really. Nice to see.

Amrabat failing to fully connect with that ball or that would've been the equaliser. He's been great today, deserves a goal.

Classic Cristiano, celebrating like that after a stoppage time tap in.
