Malaga have been the better team overall. Which means Atletico are probably going to score from a setpiece.
 
Griezeman is miles offside, but it's not given and he equalises. 2-2
 
Hope there´s lots of goals. Carriço when at Sporting was a bit error prone defender and had to move up the midfield because of that. Surprised with how well he has evolved considering we sold him for peanuts to Reading. Glad he´s doing well though since he´s a former captain and academy player.
 
Busquets has been playing well recently, why the hell is Gerry Armstrong saying he's been out of form? :wenger:

If Sevilla´s team keep giving him all this space and time, things will get messy.
 
Barça are so up for it, it's like they're back under Pep in the big games. Dani Alves some great interceptions and defensive work, Neymar some brilliant runs already and a great move for the goal, Messi oozing danger when he has the ball.

Yeah all that but Sevilla´s posture has been too defensive and they are clearly affraid.

They're trying to play through Barça, but every Barça player is winning their duels, winning every ball at the moment and their passing has been devastating at times.

What? They have 11 players in the defensive midfield. It looks like Barcelona is playing home.
 
Barca have started very well here. Neymar looks like he's playing better too, a few wayward passes but he's taking players on a linking well in the attack- had a bit of a dip in form recently.
 
Not sure Banega has ever been able to influence the game much against Barcelona - not since he was younger at Valencia anyway

I mean when they recover the ball they try to play out and Barça's intensity is just too much and making them pay for every inaccurate pass. Now they seem to have given up and trying to clear the ball any which way. Barça's intensity has been excellent.

Looks like a Copa Del Rey match with all their dominance. Hopefully the game becomes more balanced although it has been entertaining.

Need to get that 2nd goal and Emery will certainly continue his losing ways against Barcelona
