They haven't lost to Barca in ages.
It really depends on how motivated the Barca players are. Because as of right now they certainly don't strike me as least bit motivated. Can't blame them with all of the things going on around the club and with the WC coming up. Judging by previous encounters Atleti can easily get a draw at the Camp Nou.

If Real win their next 2 games and go with 89 points on board on last weekend against Barca's 88 and Atletico on 91, I see Barca handing title to Atletico, especially if Real get early goals vs Espanyol. There is no way Barca will do Real a favour on last day. Imagine the plight of both Barca and Atleti fans if Barca beat Atletico to hand title to Real Madrid of all teams...and Espanyol do their bit by lying down at Madrid

Barca's style really suites Atletico. They can stay deep and compact and hit their shaky defense on the counter. So I see no clear favorite for that game. But let's all wait and see how next weekend goes and how Real does during their midweek game. I'm not trusting either team here to not drop any points anymore.
This is a great result. If madrid do their job properly from here on in, barca can't overhaul them, which means they beating atletico will only make real's chances better, hence I think atletico's chances got a lot better.
Yes. If Real now win their next 2 games and Barca wins their 1 prior to last weekend, Real will go into weekend 1 point ahead of Barca and with home game against Espanyol which they should win. This will help Atletico as Barca will let Atletico get their point and win title. Had Madrid lost, the title would have still been in Barca's hands. Along with Atletico. Now it isn't.

This is true, but after seeing that Levante game today I wouldn't guarantee anything. Atletico will be shitting themselves big time after being up there for so long and not winning the league in almost 2 decades.

How are Celta Vigo and Valladolid as away game prospects usually and especially this season? Valladolid I see are in relegation battle so they will be playing for their lives. Can Madrid win both these away games?

Seriously though, he was wasteful with his efforts. He's one of the two best players on the planet. He doesnt usually miss free headers. He's normally able to guide a couple of his 5-7 or more shots per game into the corner giving even a top shot stopper like Diego Alves no chance.
Today his efforts were average aside from his goal which he took really well.
Yes his teammates should have done better too. So should Ronaldo. Bale played his part without losing the ball or having an average effort on goal at the end of everything and wasn't screaming at players who had the cheek to do exactly what Ronaldo was doing all game, ignoring players in good space and shooting
What about if they're still both in the race but a draw would hand us the win? That's still possible if they draw against Malaga I think.

I don't see us dropping any more points now, this will have been a serious wake up call, plus we won't have any more CL in between for a few weeks.
I think Valladolid haven't lost at home since Feb? It could be a tricky game but Madrid should win it. If Madrid do win their games going into the final game, Barca will definitely throw the game vs Atleti. They'll know Madrid won't drop points at home to Espanyol so they won't finish top either way. That's why I want Madrid to draw a match. It'll make the final day a winner takes all battle at the Nou Camp.
