L.A. Noir

I'd say a fair few of those guys will just fold into Rockstar itself.

In the middle of this one myself, on my first Vice case.

Getting a bit repetitive, but still, it seems like a revolutionary step in video games, like a bit of choose your own adventure.

Except there really isn't much significant derivation from the main story, there wasn't as much to figure out myself as I thought, mostly done in cinema segments.

At least so far.

I dont remember the posts but I'm always up for a fifa 11 rant. I cant help buying it, though. I need one game to give me my football fix. It used to be pro evo earlier, last few years its fifa. Doesn't stop me from complaining about them though! Fifa 11 was utter nonsense. Come on 2k sports, make a footy game.

Should I buy Top Spin 4? I hear it's very good, and it's reasonably priced in my local store.

It's fun, I played it quite a lot originally but stopped as noone I know plays it to play against, and it's very good online. That said it's good offline too, but I get bored of offline play very quickly with most games.

It's excellent. I largely play games single player and I have to say this is probably my favorite sports game of the last few years (don't know much about basketball so NBA2k11 was tough for me). They've basically refined all the gameplay elements of the series and delivered the most solid package so far. It's all about timing but once you get the hang of that it isn't piss easy like most of the football games are. That's what I really appreciate. 5 set matches in grand slam semi finals with are bloody challenging and ridiculously fun. I think I must have started and played fairly thoroughly 3 careers and all were excellent. It also brings about a new level of appreciation for the different kinds of tennis players that there are by using a 'points allocation' system.

Well now I seem to be giving a complicated answer to a simple question. So my answer is yes, particularly based on single player experience. For online you'd have to ask others. Also, it's a very easily accessible game, much more so than FIFA or NBA. It's basically about timing and movement whereas football and basketball have a lot more elements involved. So my friends always tend to want to play this rather than the others.
