Kylian Mbappe | PSG

He seemed like a really nice guy when he broke through at Monaco but since joining PSG, he's become an utter twat, both on and off the field.
I'm not sure about what he does off the field, but I agree that he's definitely become a bit of a twat on the field. Lots of complaining, diving etc.

@Ecstatic I think we can safely conclude that diving is in his nature. A big part of his game.

There are different ways of analyzing this behaviour.

I also think Neymar and M'bappé have different styles of diving with different purposes.

I believe he wants to be the best in any aspect of the game and that he is already a legend of the game in the art of diving. Even a player like Ravanelli was more subtle. He wants to know if he can be a great crook.

On a more serious note, it is a very bad and unwise idea to dive like that because he and his team will be penalized by his reputation in the long run. Referees will stop to whistle when deserved.

Very counter-productive attitude in the long run but I prefer to see the desire to be the best in any aspect of the game.

He will change. No doubts about that.

He is so bad at diving that it's embarrassing, he doesn't understand that you need to provoke the contact and exaggerate when the defender bites. Though it reminds me this beauty.

He's definitely prone to diving here and there, he's just not that good at it. I attribute his diving to his obsessiveness with wanting to score more goals. He wanted to take the penalty that would have happened had he managed to fool the referee. The dive after his roulette in the surface was more to protect himself but the second was just greed. Hopefully he'll manage to sort that part of his game out with more maturity, or at least get better at it and get a penalty next time. ;)

I didn't know R.Madrid owns oil in Saudi Arabia.

Big dreams...

They're the biggest club in the world & haven't spent heavily for a while, so it does kinda seem possible, if not a little over the top... But €400m+ is insane, however you look at it.

According to France Football, Madrid wants to sign both Mbappé and Pogba this summer.

I didn't know Madrid has 400 million ready to burn in two players...

Since 2011, PSG has never sold a single major player under contract.

The only good players that PSG failed to retain were Rabiot (end of contract) and Coman (from the academy and who refused to sign his 1st pro contract with PSG)

Zlatan, Motta, Maxwell, Alex, Rabiot, Menez, Van der wiel, Armand, Camara, Ben Arfa...: end of contract
Pastore, Matuidi, Gameiro, Néné, Lavezzi, Aurier, Digne, Cabaye, Krychowiak, Edouard, Clément, Hoarau, ... : the desire of the club to sell them

It has been a great mistake to have sold Matuidi in order to make Rabiot play.

"If I was manager in a club, I would not even think of Kylian Mbappe because he's unbuyable, inaccessible. If anyone wants to try buying him, good luck!"
Mourinho - March 2019

Would they cost so little?

It doesn't make much sense, but not so much because of the money, but because the clubs don't want and don't need to sell.

Probably in the top 3 of mistakes made by PSG since the QSI take over but hindsight is always 20/20.

Matuidi wanted to leave and PSG already made him stay one more year, he would have left for free the next summer if not sold.

Is that a fact? I've heard he was fine with renewing and was nudged to the outside to invest in Rabiot.

Nice assist for Umtiti from Mbappe.

Yes, as a good Raiola client he was looking for a move, PSG wanted him to stay. In fact players are almost never pushed out from PSG unless clearly surplus to requirements.

Ah cheers, I was upset at PSG for no reason then to let him slip away. I can be upset at them about Lo Celso I guess.

Oh, and blowing another lead in the Champion's League.

Involved in 3 of the 4 goals by France today, that backheel assist for Griezmann was

Pelé and Mbappelé.

Pelé had to be rushed back to the hospital soon after this meeting, which was supposed to happen sooner but Pelé had health issues that forced him to go to the hospital back then as well.

Not looking great for The King...

Horrible dive.

And nice to see you back. Been a while since I've seen your posts.
Thanks fifa master. I've been busier with life now and can only take time to read posts on the caf every now and then.

Still mumbling replies to particularly annoying posts on here but no time to enter a discussion. I'll be around though.

He's tormenting Monaco right now. Two great goals.

It is Monaco, but the quality of the first two goals was class.

Got a decent shot at the golden boot - especially with Neymar back. Currently on 30 league goals with Messi on 33.

Say whatever you want about the league but what he has achieved at the age of 20 is amazing.

Signed the wrong player from Monaco unfortunately.

For all the savvy move Monaco made, like making Martial the most expensive teenager at the time because they had Mbappe after, not to mention Bernardo Silva, Mendy, Lemar, Fabinho....they have made a mess of it all shortly after.
