You have to love Reguilon
Big year ahead of him. surely he was too young last year. but he hardly impressed, too slow and without any energy for senior football. It either comes or not. needs to work extremely hard on the pitch, his technique is nothing special and will find it hard in much faster and powerful mens football where he doesnt posses the advantage of being well built and having tons of time like in youth footy.
I have never seen a teenage midfielder being so good since Fabregas. I have no doubts he is going to be top top player.
True though, he was top young player already when playing for Dortmund as teenager.Bellingham has to be in that conversation.
Bellingham has to be in that conversation.
Not Gavi - he is entirely different. Pedri yes, thoughOr Pedri. Or Gavi.
Great minds and all that: https://www.redcafe.net/threads/kobbie-mainoo-2023-24-performances.478079/post-31595504100%. It’s a sensational midfield. They all compliment each other as well.
He barely touched Rashford in the World Cup… before he went on to complete a 30 goal season. They’d have got to the final with RashfordSouthgate doesn't pick AWB because his right back spot is stacked but the rest of the players get picked.
We get the best central midfielder this club has produced since Paul Scholes. We’re long overdue. He's a boy playing against men and making a fine fist of it; what will happen when he too has his man strength and fitness?
Was surprised to see him tower over Bruno in that interview after the game.
Transfermarkt has Bruno at 179 cm, and Kobbie at 175. Kid is literally growing in front of our eyes.
Good long post just above you can read
True! I dunno about now, but, when I was growing up, it felt like there were more reds in Stockport than blues even though it's known as a blue zone.We aren’t all so bad from Stockport!
I did mate, and I’m sure you did too. I know you were championing him before he became a regular in the first team too as well and it’s nice when the patience pays off.@Borninthe80ts you must have enjoyed that
Probably seen it 10 times this morning, if anything, it grows. There are no less than 8 Wolves player helping out in defence, trying to hold on to their point. He just goes, feck it, got to do it on my own, just glides through the masses, ignores teammates shouting for a pass and just places it calmly bottom corner. No big deal. Amazing. The more I see the goal the more I am amazed.
Brilliant.
He was always going to get plenty of minutes as he's a huge talent. Amrabat couldn't lace his boots.Very glad to see him play frequently and prove me wrong in saying he will only get a few spare minutes here and there this season. He has made the best of his opportunity and hopefully stays in the team permanently even after Amrabat returns.

Happy for him as he seems a level headed young man. Mainly it’ll give fuel to other youngsters both in the academy and potential targets too.
You think he might get a shout at the Euro’s?
