Klopp to leave Liverpool at the end of the season

Really looking forward to klopp‘s kids lighting up the theatre of dreams not once but twice this season. I’m sure fergie will have a tear in his eye as he sees the natural successors of the class of ‘92 doing their thing en route to a quadruple. It’ll be so heartwarming. I can imagine the caff feeling all warm and fuzzy with excitement.
Morning

Hope you're all warm and fuzzy, chief.

Good fecking grief. It’s so fecking mawkish. I don’t remember us doing any of this shite when Fergie left.
Fergie lifted the title, gave his speech, waved goodbye and off he went. I could be wrong but I don't even remember him doing any special interviews.

Klopp and Liverpool are milking the shit out of it.

Salah is pissed because he didn't start and Klopp took too long to sub him on. When he is about to be subbed on weirdo Klopp wants to do a handshake and a hug because his love language in physical touch and he doesn't respect people's personal space or boundaries. Salah is pretending like he doesn't see him (he does) and "fixing" his socks. Klopp barely gets a handshake from an annoyed Salah and takes exception to it because...gimme my hug dammit. Salah is peeved because, he doesn't wanna play stupid huggy huggy games right now. Klopp just couldn't let the snub go and though he was som distance away from Salah goes over to Salah and says something snarky to him. Tensions are already high, they start chirping, things escalate, neither wants to back down.
Then Klopp goes and gets hugs from Gomez and Nunez

They really are the strangest club in existence aren't they? Why are they so upset about a manager leaving who barely won anything?

Needs to be rebranded as a tragi-comedy.

Why? A documentary? Of?

Him winning the league cup and then crashing out of every other cup competition after being crushed at Old Trafford?

Actually...take my money

The long goodbye, it's over Klopp(move on). Glad the fans can't let go too, make it funnier when they are comparing him to poundland ten hag next year. Transition is going to be rough on them.

I remember Newcastle fans were clamouring for Kevin Keegan to come back for about a decade and when it finally happened it was a damp squib.

I think the same thing will happen with Klopp and Liverpool.

I’m not for all the histrionics and hero worship that’s going on with his retirement, but you’re really underselling what he did for the club. He took them out of the mid table and turned them into PL and UCL winners and became one of the top teams in Europe

It already happened with Dalglish and Liverpool

I think that is nailed on to happen at some point. They'll sing his name every time they're having a shit season, eventually he'll come back but he'll have crap players to work with.

The funniest version is that this happens then they sack him for not being successful. It's also possible that he does well again, but I'd bet on the former.

He won them their only PL title** in 30 years and CL against fecking spurs. I thought hey that not such a big deal in 9 years, and then i saw people want to keep ETH after fecking FA cup victory. So there i stood, corrected.

Not sure it does the incoming manager much good how long this worshipping is going on. It's all so painfully Liverpool.
Don't worry he has totally asked them to stand by their new manager. In song too.

You're posting this on a forum where half the people are getting upset about a shite Dutch manager potentially getting sacked. Klopp gave them 9 years of brilliant football, multiple finals and title challenges. Obviously they'll be a bit gutted he's leaving

Never said he didn't. I said he barely won anything. Which is right.

I've confirmed it with several sources now. The guy's running and producing the Klopp Farewell Tour 2024 have a background in Mexican and Brazilian telenovelas (Latam soap operas) so we can expect another couple of months and a lot, lot more tears from Merseyside.

Apparently his mural at the Phoenix Hotel has already been replaced by Taylor Swift... hahaha!

I’m going to his farewell game in Guadalajara next week, then his farewell game in Osaka the following week and then Perth the next week and then Chicago the week after that. I can’t make the one in October in Doha though.

What’s more cringeworthy, the Liverpool Darwin Darwin Nunez singing guy or this…..

The way he is going on as if he achieved something no one has. They all talk about this great Liverpool team, no doubt there were seasons where they played really good football.

That doesn't really do anything when he won 1 PL title and 1 CL.

Its funny because United with crap managers had teams finish above them in 3/4 of his seasons.
