Kingsley Coman

I'm happy for him, as a player I find him very likeable. A nice blend of creativity and discipline, managers must love him.

Random. Just check his Wikipedia and relapsed he is only 25. Wow, I’m here thinking he was 29. He must be the only 25 year old and younger with so much career experiences and trophies.

There's a stat where he's the only player in history to win a league title in every single season of his senior career so far, mad that

Fairly fecking easy if you join Bayern

He won at PSG and Juve joining Bayern. Didn't have a major role with either but atleast he chooses his clubs well

Immensely talented lad, would have been on the level of Ribery I feel had he not had so many injuries in his career. He's still a very good player though, amongst the best wingers.

We should sign him.

And ruin this run.

He's won in 3 different leagues tbf, title winning sides have had a place for him since he was a highly touted youngster in France.

He'd be looked at differently if he wasn't made of glass, he's been really good when healthy

He was up and running even after the foul and the ref should have played advantage...

I thank him for missing that penalty. Despite the amount of Frenchmen in our squad, I definitely didn't want them to retain the cup. Also, Messi.

As a player he's terrific, but hard no for a transfer, we'll never see him play.

Aren't Arsenal interested in him or Gnabry?

It’s weird that Arsenal would want another high profile wide player, you would assume Trossard would be the one that loses out because of it and he’s their get out of jail free card.

I have to say I forgot about his existence for a year or so. Used to be a great player and I guess he still is, will be a good buy for whoever

Bayern didnt get Doue either. Wont they be short at the wings?

Surely they can take Sancho now.

Ah yes, Coman. RedCafe's wet dream.

Never understood what this place sees in him. He's the very definition of all sizzle and no gotdamn steak.

It's an excellent 1v1 traditional winger and a hard worker that support very well his fullback defensively. The only issue is that he is injury prone.

He has the uncanny ability to be unfit half of the year every year but still perform when he can play, so he has kept a career until now. He's a good depth option but no point betting on him as a starter.

They are nothing alike, not even a little bit.
he's a right footed left winger....same body style, same exact type of player

ffs mate...he's never registered double digit goals in a single campaign

It's not an ability, his body is kind of destroyed and it has been the case for a long time. He almost retired years ago.

He's just so disappointing. His output doesn't match the level of praise he gets on here. His best season in the Bundesliga is 8 goals. The average over his career is 5-6 goals per season. That's playing for Bayern Munich winning year in, year out.

We already have a problem with low scoring wingers. He'd get even less chances with us than he gets with Bayern.

I'd let him have Sanchos position in the squad, I guess. I just think he'd do well for a bit, get injured and we'd be back in the same position again, lacking quality going forward, very quickly. So I can't really be on board with this.

Don't blame him. Kane broke his title winning streak. Must be pissed.

They are nothing alike. One is a traditional winger, that is a great dribbler and a hard worker while the other is an inside forward that focuses on scoring goals, doesn't really press, mark opponents or track back.

You are basically suggesting that Giggs and Salah are the exact same type of players.

Coman's scoring stats each Bundesliga season with a dominant, free-scoring Bayern Munich.

15/16 - 4
16/17 - 2
17/18 - 3
18/19 - 6
19/20 - 4
20/21 - 5
21/22 - 6
22/23 - 8
23/24 - 3

He once had 10 assists in a season. The other seasons he averaged around 4-5.

The issue is that you seemingly see Football through spreadsheets. I wouldn't sign him due to his injury record, he isn't going to last. But Coman has no actual equivalent in our team, with someone like him you have two guarantees, the opposition will struggle to create on his wing and he is going to create havoc in the defense on his wing which helps everyone else. Now if we are looking for an inside forward than it's not the correct profile but if we are after a traditional winger that wins 1v1s and plays for the team then it's the correct profile.

For context, look at the minutes played. Coman plays the equivalent of half seasons, that's the issue. Even though his game isn't really about stats, the stats are actually good.
