Hopefully he keeps Ipswich in the prem in his first season in the prem and then he may get big job offers
The big mistake a lot make is just letting those player continue in the PL. I don't mean get rid of them, I mean they need to bring in experienced PL players for certain positions. It will help them enormously. Also don't get silly in the process like Nottingham Forest. He will be backed as I think they do have some money behind them. He'd do well to, 8 of the starters today were starters in league 1 that's a hell of a jump to make for them and alternatively it's a hell of a lot players to replace next season to

Hearing interviews from their DOF I think it was they seem very sensibly run. I'm sure they'll spend some money but with an eye on possibly having to bounce back next year. I can't see them fecking him over Sheffield Utd style but no way they go full Forest.Do they though? They spent a total of £4m last summer and this January combined.
They will be the favourites to go back down, will be unfair judging him on that basis.
You’re certainly not wrong about that. Then again, most people maybe have a simplified idea about the factors affecting club performance, where a) they overestimate the manager influence vastly, and b) they think that when a team underachieve by 10 pts compared to previous seasons or another team, it means everybody from owners to key players to squad players to managers to coaching assistants to technical director to ground keepers are below the required level by the essences in their souls.we should help him out with some loanees and bargain buys. Donny to Ipswich.
Keep him sweet in case he becomes top level. Im delighted for him, the way he was spoken about on here by plenty was embarrassing for the forum. The thing about talking shit online though, is that when you're proven absurdly wrong, you can just say nothing and pretend you never contributed to an at times toxic conversation about who was clearly a hugely regarded coach.

Donny, almost forgotten he existed. Given McKenna has worked with him before I'd doubt he'd want him sticking up the squad. A few others he could possibly take though I am sure.we should help him out with some loanees and bargain buys. Donny to Ipswich.

The achievement of the season in Europe
How do you know he's not ready for United? He was highly rated before he joined us, we have no idea of how he performed as a coach under Ole, but we do know that he managed/ coached a mid table team, into promotion to the Premier league within two seasons.Done a brilliant job at Ipswich. He's nowhere near ready to manage a club like United though, enough of the reactionary nonsense.
Ipswich have a team littered with League 1 talent still. If he has them at 12-14th spot next season that’s an incredible achievement and half the league should try to bring him in.if he’s that good, he’ll have them challenging for europe. if not, then he’s not the right man for united.
I think over time there’s been a few coaches who are so good but their squads provide them a very low ceiling.Lets see how he does in the PL first. Lots of coaches have taken teams up and not been able to step up as well.
So are you still wondering what he did at Utd?
Great achievement by him.
No. Those who hated on the coaching also hated Ole.There was a desperation from some to absolve Ole of the blame for our performances.
So Roman never left British soil after all! But why grace the caf with your presence, and why reveal yourself now!?if he’s that good, he’ll have them challenging for europe. if not, then he’s not the right man for united.
Things get very interesting for McKenna now and I wonder how much he will or can lean on us calling in favours in what could be a mutually beneficial relationship.we should help him out with some loanees and bargain buys. Donny to Ipswich.

Right. The addition of quality and depth is key. What equally important is to maintain the squad chemistry and togetherness. The core of his current team will play next season I think. Maybe he can give Hannibal a chance?I don't think anyone available for loan or sale from us to Ipswich are good enough quality and/or affordable for him to be honest. Kambwala on loan maybe?
Think he will want Omari Hutchison back from Chelsea and maybe Sariamento? They need RB and LB cover and I cant see Dalot, Shaw or AWB going there. My money would be that he will sign Brandon Williams on a free though. Donnys not got the fire in him that McKenna looks for in his players I think. Forget Klopp, it's McKennas mentality monsters.

I'd love to go back to some of the posts by all the Twitter tacticos, telling me he's clearly a bad coach because of our performances. I imagine they'd tie themselves in knots. Some of the posts from past is a goldmine, even better when Ole was sacked. Lot of posts saying why isn't McKenna and Carrick sacked, how can RR improve the team with these 2 coaches still at ManUtd.
So clueless but so confident on their takes.
