Kevin De Bruyne

The uproar over that tackle is seriously hilarious. Just a standard tactical trip gone wrong. Yellow, maybe red for some referees, but never an injury causing tackle.

Must have gone like “I’m hurt!!! Aarggg... put me on a stretcher “
No. “Let me play-ay. Let me plaay”

I'm sure the time of the announcement was a coincidence. Small time plastic tossers

Called it in the Sanchez thread that they'd wait for United to unveil him before publishing the KDB announcement.

Can't have United taking up all the column inches can we boys. Petty p*icks.

So small time. And it’s funny because De Bruyne arrogantly talked about Sanchez as if he was already a City player.

I can't believe it. They were actually refreshing and waiting for Sanchez to be announced before pressing send. Cnuts

Why is it that there hardly ever seem to be other teams sniffing about for City's best players?

For sure if he was a United player e would have had Real and Barca trying to turn his head.

Anyway, very small time of City announcing this within minutes of Alexis unveiling, but I think we all expected that.

He'll regret spending his best years at that club.

Must be horrible on him, playing under attacking managers, setting league records and probably winning titles while getting £200k a week before bonuses.

No one really cares about City, sorry to break it to you. Winning titles at big clubs is what players want to be remembered for. City have an incredible squad right now, but it's soulless.

Haha, you care enough to be crying about him being at City not twenty minutes ago.

Well for a start City regularly qualify for the Champions League without having to win the Europa league. I'm not having a go :lol:Sanchezter United woo.

He's an amazing player, deserves a bigger stage. I'm sure someone will rescue him when Pep leaves ;)

Mahrez and Vardy must be crying themselves to sleep. If only they'd have won the league wearing the shirt of Manchester United!

This is such a bad PR blunder from City. They knew we were going to announce the Alexis signing today, why on the same day announce your best player has just extended his contract. All the attention is going to be on the United / Arsenal swap and not a simple contract renewal.

Wait a few days and then announce it and the Alexis news will be old and the De Bruyne news will be headline.

ps. do hope the whole £600k per week is hugely blown up as I'd hate, unless a Messi of 26 or so, should be earning that.

Like they rescued Aguero and Silva. I've read this about our best players for the last 10 years and the only player we've lost we wanted to keep, is a young Boateng who wasn't getting a game at the time anyway.

Ok Pappy Smurf, wake up from your dream in your light blue onesie and realise so many players would swap a one season wonder rather than 5 years at United / Barca / Bayern / Real. Simple reality is - players, fans etc would actually rather play for the likes of United / Bayern / Real for 5 years than win a league at Leicester.

Being serious, as a fan of a big club - and if you were a fan of a big club too - would you rather win the league with a small club or play for 5 years with a big club...

I think what he meant is that it is more prestigious to win the title with United, Liverpool, Juve, Barca, Madrid or other such clubs than City, PSG or even Chelsea. Which in a way, is kinda true, isn't it. Of course, if the former clubs weren't in a position to compete for the title (like Liverpool), any player would choose the latter clubs for sure, and some players may choose them over United at the moment.

Unbelievable Mourinho would deem him surplus. He is the complete midfield general who can score, create, dictate, pass short, long and work hard physically.

Yes because at the time, he was playing at the same level he is now.
