Kevin De Bruyne

No one wants to see players get injured (Rojo, Pogba, Zlatan all come to mind), but I don't care if other teams' players are injured. I won't be sobbing if he misses 5-6 games. Or 15-16.

Never wish injury on a player but I won't feign outrage when it happens to someone I have no attachment to whatsoever. Classy player, that's the extent of my sympathy with him.

Hope he is out for the season. Yes, I know that's wrong but don't want to see City go unbeaten

Tell you what, if I were a City fan, I'd rather that pen had gone in and lost 1 point that see De Bruyne go down like that as a direct consequence of the counter.

A five minute appointment with Pep's special doctor in Spain will sort out De Bruyne.

Ankle ligaments?
It doesn't look like a break, I think they'd be a bit more careful lifting him on the stretcher if it was.

Looks a horrible injury. Probably going to be out for a long time. He will be a big miss for City.

Agree with this.

Sums up my thoughts. Sh*t happens.

So much this.

If sport is that important to you, you need to reorient your priorities. Normal wear and tear injuries are part of the game. Not reckless actions like that.

I know it's wrong to be happy when any player gets injured but this is a different case. With all the people with salivating mouths going on and on about how good City are, this should shut them up for a few weeks/months

There has to be a line somewhere in between those two comments. I mean, if he picks up and injury which is part of the parcel of the game but fecking out for the season? Nah.

Looks like he’s walking. Hopefully won’t be out more than a month

Yeah hopefully it's just a month.

The league as gone now and KDB is one of the best players in the world and faces of the Premier League, you don't want to see a potentially career threatening injury ruin the career of one of the world's best, those that do or don't care aren't really a fan of football in my eyes.

Ok, Out till 37th GW? does that make it better? Plays in WC as well

It’s been coming really, been a lot of media and referee indulgence of those type of challenges.

Career threatening what?

Well no. If he pulls his hamstring or something. Getting mauled by a fecking cnut and missing half a season is pretty shit for anyone to see. Also, it would be good to see him fully fit in World Cup rather than spending next 4 months on the treatment table.

I'm not praying he's out for games, the league is already up so doesn't really matter if he's back for the next game. What I mean is more of a general comment. I don't particularly care either way (though I want to see him at the World Cup).

Best player of his type in the world right now.
