Music Kendrick Lamar

Well I only know Ms. Jackson and Hey Ya so can you give me examples of songs he's really good on?

Every. Single. Song. He's ever graced. I don't think he has a bad verse.

Andre 3000 - A Day In The Life Of Benjamin Andre
Outkast - ATLiens, Da Art Of Stoytellin', Return of The G, D.E.E.P., Babylon, Elavators.

Every single guest verse he's featured on, but specifically: UGK - Int'l Playas Anthem to start you off.

Oh and how highly would you guys rate Lupe? I've always thought he was under-rated and should be in top 10.

Lupe is underrated, lyrically again I don't think there's many better than him.
Musically, after his second album i'll admit I kinda stopped listening to him consistently, but apparently his most recent album was really good so i'll have to give that a go.

Also Lupe's freestyling is something else, try listening to some.

Lupe Fiasco's The Cool and Food and Liquor are two of my favourite hip hop albums of the last 10 years, not really enjoyed most of his later stuff as much though.

I'm going to listen to the Albums mentioned above, is it one them?

Atliens, Aquemini and Stankonia are the middle 3 albums of Outkast's discography and their 3 best. Vital listening for any music fan IMO. I'd advise listening to all of their albums to be honest, one of the best discographies in rap and Big Boi is very underrated.

Kendrick is on a different level, man. Butter smooth flow. GOAT.

Also make sure you support Isaiah Rashad's new album. TDE's production is always on point... and this is no different.

I think TDE is the best label in hiphop today, as far as music quality goes. Kendrick, Q, Jay Rock, Isaiah have all come out with heat recently. I think Ab-Soul is coming out with something soon, and SZA can't do no wrong by me.

Excellent, Kendrick is one of the most consistent rappers in the game right now, his lyrics always deliver. Think he could do well with experimenting with different styles & types of beats, but to be fair it's working well for him.

He's on a completely different level to almost every rapper out there, certainly most, if not all within this new generation.

He's in his own little world, like a peak Messi where he can do no wrong. Excellent flow, i liked the beat too.

Is that what it is?

Looks like it, it could be a group album but seems unlikely looking at the Instagram page it's linked to.
Or potentially a new TDE artist?

I don't think it's a music release though, but I hope I'm wrong.

We'll find out in half an hour I guess.

Don't know who this Kendrick fella is, but Danny Brown was nice enough to let him have a go on one on the tracks from his upcoming album.

The lyrics on the person's back are from label mate ScHoolboy Q's song from his latest album. Kanye West featured on the track.

It could be a subliminal diss aimed at fakes within the industry, such as Drake.

Yea, I think it's shit connected with clothes really.

Soulo's album will drop soonish though.

Listening to Section.80 this morning and realised how much HiiiPower sounds like So Apalled by Kanye. Especially the "I mean this shit is..." line.

I wonder which came first. Can't be bothered to Google it.

HiiiPower sampled So Appalled.

Mind...

HiiiPower sampled So Appalled.

Blown.

Another great feat on The Weeknd's Starboy from Kendrick. That's another one after Holy Key and That Part BH remix. If he follows pure rap way on his new album he's going to fecking destroy it all.
