Great player, has two feet, head on top of his neck for scoring, wouldn't cause a fuss, still at his peak, world class.

Needs a three year deal that exceeds our current highest salary limit. This time it'll be different.
 
6 months until the summer I wouldn't say no but no more than that at all

Toney I could get onboard with (unless someone brings up rumours of him having underage sex or DV rumours). He’s a hard working decent striker at PL level. He does seem a bit of a gobshite though

Well I hope if anyone would get rumours about underage sex or DV rumours we would reconsider, are there stories of that about Toney?

It’s also bullshit that a player gets banned, has to miss matches but can’t train with the team at least to keep their career at some type of fitness level.

he just recently (couple of months) got back into training but in a career that’s so reliant on fitness they really have to look at that.
Missing matches is enough punishment.

Why should it bother me. The whole of the world seen him lift numerous Champions leagues and World player of the year and I didn’t see you up on the stage trying to fight him or are you going to pretend it bothered you when he was named world player of the year?

I don’t condone bad behaviour but I also don’t confess to care about all these rumoured reports that don’t impact me. If he was married to my sister my stance might be abit different.

But fair enough if it would bother you. Just don’t see why anyone should have a problem with it not bother people when he hasn’t been banned from football and also picked up footballs more prestigious individual owners.

Benzema in 2009 was my biggest muppet moment in my time supporting the club, but it's waaaay too late to be signing him now. It's the exact kind of signing we should not be making.

Bringing in older players to fill a spot in the squad is fine as long as they have the right attitude and are cheap, both in transfer fee and wages. Benzema wouldn't be cheap, he's being unprofessional with his current club and sounds like he's also being lazy and mentally checked out, and he has a number of controversies in the past. Put all that together and people think it'd be a good idea to bring him into this current dressing room?

He didn't. But the sex tape scandal with Valbuena is enough to at least question his character.

You don't condone bad behavior yet here you are condoning it and condemning others for not condoning it.

Where do your own morale lie out of curiosity that you'd want a person with a history of crime against his teammates, a history of backtalking his teammates, backtalking his manager, talking down his own country that he plays for. Why would you want that?

OK, you don't care about that. Why would you want a player who's simultaneously one of the highest paid players in the world and basically retired, 36 years old who's probably come grumpy at the sight of rain to sign for Manchester United? That's just pure self sabotage.

Biggest concern for me is Ten Hag's man management. Coaching young players, fine. However, he seems to struggle with big ego players like Ronaldo.
 
Benzema is basically retired and just collecting money, he wouldn't give a shit if he came here, he'd be up there with Martial levels of lazy and not giving a feck.

Benzema is a big player, but really doesn't struck me as a massive tit. He didn't mind playing second fiddle to Ronaldo for years.

But it's hard to tell.
 
He's always wanted to live in Saudi Arabia and help football grow there according to reports so he'll be staying then. Also will continue to pick up his 100 million a year.

Agreed. Any player that goes to SA is comfortable with just taking the money. Seeing as how that's half our squad already, I'd rather not add to it.

The "grow the game" bit always made me laugh. How exactly does an aging player jogging around on 9 figures inspire anyone to play football has never been explained to me.
