Without injury he is a absolutely safe bet. A Fantastic player.I will be honest I don't know that much about him so maybe someone could help to give me more of a insight into the type of player that he is and how he would fit into the Utd setup.

When did I say that?
And James is good value. But Woodys track history is to have have about 80% overpaid transfer fees and then 20% value.
I've never heard of this player in my life but after reading a few posts on here, I'm absolutely convinced we must pay whatever is necessary to get him.
Coutinho is doing very well at Bayern and I doubt they'd go for Havertz if they decide to buy the Brazillian.
Why does it matter? Stopping being a baby. What nationality is Coutinho? You could have just said if they decided to buy Coutinho. Would have saved you time as I’m sure lots of people here aren’t struggling to find his nationality.
Big Dave
Spiderwan - Maguire - Tuanzebe - Willams
McT - Partey
Sancho - Havertz - Rash
Haaland
Bench: Romero - Lindelof - Shaw - Fred - James - Martial - Greenwood
I reckon this is all we need to potentially challenge.
I am very sure that we’re not going to buy Coutinho. At least not for the option we have. Far too expensive. If we can get Havertz, I’m pretty sure Coutinho is gone. And we will try to get him.Coutinho is doing very well at Bayern and I doubt they'd go for Havertz if they decide to buy the Brazillian.
Partey is a pure DM no? I don't think we have ever played with a pure DM.I like the look of that team but feel we need a more experienced starting LB, amazes me that we do not seem even remotely interested in Partey for some reason, totally agree with people who say that champions league football is an absolute necessity if we want to sign Sancho in the summer. Mind you it does feel that we are more interested in Maddison though and could see Sancho joining Chelsea or Liverpool instead.

Partey doesn't make sense for us in a 4-2-3-1 setup. He's too limited and a player like Niguez, McGinn, Guimaeres would be the way forward IMO due their ability to help both the attack and defence. That might explain why we are looking at a more box to box option like Saul, however he has a very hefty price tag that I would be very surprised if Utd are willing to meet

As far as creativity goes Bruno guimarães would be the best player we could sign with a longterm view imo. He has very good passing range and line breaking ability that would be invaluable for us. He's also very good at shielding the defence and would be a fantastic box to box #8 that would provide creativity via his vision/passing. He's available for €30m according to many media outlets and at 22 years of age would be a very shrewd signing. Would need time to settle and acclimatise to new surroundings though.Who would be your ideal choice out of those three you mentioned, we could really do with signing another creative midfield option in January as when Pogba doesn't create we look devoid of any spark at all.
Last year he played in number10 role but this year he is a number-8. matured a lot and doing well.
For how much do you think you will sell him to Bayern? He played as an 8 last year, too. Same position but the departure of Brandt really hurts him. He's getting into less goal scoring situations but he also lacks the compusure he had last year.
However, he's still playing great and is easily our best player every match he plays. He receives a lot of criticism because many fans are butthurt that he's leaving and now that his numbers are missing and his body language is a little bit like Özil's some become really unfair Truth is, his overall game is still brillant. The game against Cologne is decent proof of that, had some great moments in a generally poor side.
People also don't see that our opponent's have identified him as the greatest danger. He's constantly man marked, isolated or plays against two defenders at once. Creates much space for other players that way. But if a 20 year old gets such a treatment you know how good he is. I reckon that once he plays for a truly elite club and the oppo defense has to split it's attention on multiple players again, he'll be back to scoring loads and loads of goals.
For how much do you think you will sell him to Bayern?
Reus was similarly offensive to Kimmich regarding a transfer of Havertz to Dortmund, by the way. Both have been quiet for some time now, could mean everything or nothing.
What?
Partey is a pure DM no? I don't think we have ever played with a pure DM.
Should have worded it better. As long as I have been watching United.Nobby Stiles says hi. Best you study up on United’s history. Have been many United players who were pure defensive midfielders.
Both Reus and Kimmich talked about Havertz moving to their respective with the media quite frankly. Much more frankly than club officials usually do it. Reus said that he planned to try everything to convince Havertz of a move to Drtmund. Kimmich on the other hand talked about a possible transfer of Havertz to Bayern on two occasions, saying that Havertz is "one for Bayern Munich" and that he would "fit in well at Bayern".after Havertz' debut for Germany. Both interviews were very bold considering that they talked about a player who is still under contract at another Bundesliga club and I think the outrage of Bayern/Dortmund officials would've been much bigger if someone talked about their players like that but I guess you've got to live with such double standards.
Anyway, the bottom line was that Bayern an Dortmund players openly tried to convince Havertz of a move and have been quiet for quite some time now. I have the feeling that we won't see Havertz in the Bundesliga next season.
It was a question from an interviewer. What else should he have said? "No, he sucks and doesn't have the level for Bayern?" Get a grip...
Only Reus made an unprompted public move, so don't lump them together.
If Toni Kroos answered something similar after an international match but but not regarding Havertz and Bayern but Gnabry and Madrid, I guarantee you every Bayern fan and the hypocrats Rummenigge and Hoeneß would be outraged. Only that Kimmich did it on two separate occasions.
Should have worded it better. As long as I have been watching United.
Will brush up on our history.
Again: The only thing he said is Havertz would be a good enough player for us. And no, nobody would be outraged about anyone pointing out something so trivial.
While we're at playing assumption games: I'd bet you don't lose a sweat about what smaller clubs say about you guys after gobbling up the oompteenth big talent.
All you are displaying here is your frustration about not sitting on the top of the food chain.
Very different players.Have City already given up on Rodri?
Feck that, it seems every supposed talented player is worth 100 million or more nowadays. We need to be a lot more shrewd in the way we conduct our business from now on, we can't continue spending like that on single players.Player’s representative holds ‘concrete talks’ with Man United and Man City – Club demand €100m+ for transfer
On November 27th, SportBild reported Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz is aware that Manchester United are are ‘a fallen giant’ but a move to Old Trafford would still have attractions for him.

Ah Nobby!! Couldn’t run, couldn’t see, couldn’t shoot, couldn’t head ...Nobby Stiles says hi. Best you study up on United’s history. Have been many United players who were pure defensive midfielders.
Like we wouldn't pay the extra for Hazard, Lucas Moura.. Who cares how much they cost as long as they improve us.Feck that, it seems every supposed talented player is worth 100 million or more nowadays. Not always the case - especially if clubs outside of Germany are willing to pay over 100mTalented German player, moving to FC Bayern in the summer, nothing to see here.
