I think many have complimented juve on the statement, which was classy. This thread is to laugh at the posters on one particular forum, just like the rawk thread. No one (or at least mostly no one) is mocking the club.
I think it happens often, youth clubs find a (legal) way to often benefit from the players they developed when they get sold further in their career.Why would the youth clubs get money? And why would they buy him a house in Manchester.

Lost a lot of respect after they got convicted and relegated for match fixing. That's as low as sport gets for me.

Personally i'm from a small town in Sweden and there's no way my team will ever come anywhere close to attracting the best players or competing at the highest level. Yeah I don't get that either. It's not like Italian is a global language or you have to know it to support Juventus.

The facts are Juve were stripped of a couple of titles and relegated to Serie B along with some other teams who were also implicated and punished. Was that ever reversed?? The evidence must have been damning even though there may not have been enough for a conviction for such heavy penalties to be imposed. If Juve were completely innocent, surely they would have fought it all the way to clear their name and protect their reputation and Serie A status ?
Juve have since opened a lawsuit with the league over losses due to their relegation being without merit, the league have apparently offered to reinstate the Scudettos if they drop the lawsuit. Which would imply they'd expect Juve to win.
Also, the managers conviction was thrown out too.
Didn't one of the former players try to commit suicide because of the calciopoli? Why did he try to kill himself if they didn't do anything wrong?

Well it's been 10 years now and nothing's happened yet.
This just started last year.
No we were not guilty of match fixing. We were pretty much a scape goat for the entire league while Ac Milan Fiorentina Lazio all got slaps on the wrist for the same thing we did.
Inter were later found to be guilty of the same thing Juve did with much worse evidence against them being revealed.

It doesnt really surprise me that they dont see anything wrong with match-fixing over there, given the way Italian society views these things. IF it was up to me, I'd have wiped out their entire trophy history, and made them start from scratch. It's a despicable and disgusting thing to do.

It basically came down to the teams complaining to the referee designators that they weren't happy about x referee being in charge or that ref always goes against us.
