Yes the game is at Anfield, but really, honestly, do you see City getting beat there??

Nahh, Liverpool will not finish above us, there is no reason to think that, or base such a suggestion upon, going by THIS season, what they did in previous season's with different players available to them (see Mane as an example here) is totally irrelevant and meaningless.

Top 4 is simply out of their grasp, they are 4 points away from a relegation place, if as expected City beat them, and other results go against them, then they could be a lot closer to the drop zone then a top 4 place, why not acknowledge that as something that could happen??

I bet that they don't avenge our defeat at Anfield, I bet that we do the double over them.
See how easy it is to say things with confidence??

Errr no the Community Shield is a pre-season trophy, along with all of the other myriad of other pre-season trophies that are out there, they don't actually count for anything, they are not in anyway important in the slightest.

I was never a huge Jose fan before, during or after he left us, yes I enjoyed the trophy wins, (who doesn't enjoy seeing their team lift trophies??!!) but that doesn't by any means mean that I was happy with him as our manager, I was not.

Liverpool are not a top tier European club, no chance of that, they are at best in the second of third tier of clubs, they cannot attract the very best or the highest quality/calibre of players to the club, hence why they signed Darwin, and not a proper top class striker, as no top class striker would in their right mind wish to join them.

Look at Mane, he couldn't wait to get out of there quick enough.

The facts are simple, Houiller was and will remain a far more successful manager for Liverpool than Klopp, winning 3 trophies, including a European one, on one season, dwarfs what Klopp has achieved at Liverpool.

Rafa also had a hugely successful period as their manager, this notion that both were not successful when they were is very odd indeed.

You're using Nunez's performances to date in a bit of revisionist history. He was a hot commodity in the world of football last spring, and while you are mocking Liverpool for signing him, remember we had been in negotiations for about 3 weeks when Nunez chose Liverpool over us.

Where is the evidence to suggest that we were in negotiations for three weeks to sign him, other than mere newspaper gossip??

There's difference of opinion and then there's stating that they could get relegated and that Houllier was a bigger success. Sorry but if you're not balanced in your assessment it becomes hard to take your opinion seriously. Of course I do hope you are proved right though.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want Liverpool to recover and get top 4, no chance.

You haven't won at Anfield for so long. Lets see who is right, but I would bet they will be huge favourites, and rightly so.

I never said that they could get relegated, (please show me where I did if you are claiming such a thing), what I merely said was if City beat them this weekend, which is what is most likely to happen, and results go against them, then they will be very close to the relegation zone....

It is a big ask of course, and it most likely will not happen, but if Brentford, Everton, West Ham, Leeds, Palace Wolves and Villa all win their games this weekend, them Liverpool will be 16th by my maths, and one point from the relegation places.
So whilst I am NOT saying that they will get relegated, if these set of highly unlikely results happen, and City beat them, (more likely), then it will be a very interesting situation indeed....

Is there anything incorrect about what I said there??
How is that not a balanced viewpoint??

Houiller won more trophies in one season, then Klopp has done in one season, so not sure why me saying such a thing automatically makes me a troll, or is merely stating facts now something that shouldn't be done??

Just trying to get some clarification here, that is all.

In one season, one of which was a European trophy...are you suggesting that is easy to do (if it is why have hardly any other teams done this?) or it isn't a success at all to win 3 trophies in one season??

By your logic, Houllier and SAF are equally as successful. You know, as they both experienced season's winning 3 trophies, including a European one....
 
Need Liverpool to go out. Unfortunately they will probably beat Napoli and Ajax. All good teams falling into Europa. Giving them a straight run to the trophy :(
 
Will be supporting them this Sunday. If City have to win the league, so be it, but I don’t think I could stomach an invincible season.

Which trophies could they win?
Premier League? Nope
Champions League? Nope

So at best we are talking about either the League Cup or the FA Cup, if they do, then it means someone at some point has knocked out the teams currently higher in the table then them, so it is still possible, but a long shot for them to do so.

Also no jinxed, reverse or otherwise from myself.

Quite self explanatory. When a player over the age of 30 goes a few games without scoring/performing well some can't wait to proclaim that they're finished.

We are talking here about bigging up a player, for scoring past a very poor Rangers side are we not??

Sorry but these goals prove nothing, he is finished as a top level player, these goals change nothing in the slightest.

There's no way someone can genuinely believe the positions you're taking. No one thinks Houllier or Benitez were better for Liverpool than Klopp

You want the team that has taken over your city and basically has become your daddy for the last decade to win. It’s sad that you have given up on hope of reclaiming the city but I suppose that’s explainable considering your neighbors dominance over you. Have fun rooting for them.
