Let’s be honest two shit decisions from the referee / VAR which massively benefited West Ham. I know we are supposed to be happy because it’s Liverpool who got fecked over. But I’m more worried about making top 4 come end of the season. And we are in competition with West Ham for that spot. Not Liverpool.

As for Creswell, no-one, and I mean absolutely no-one said what actually happened... his foot accidentally bounced up off the ball, a completely unintentional thing. If he did that 100 times again, his foot wouldn't bounce up off the ball, it was a complete freak of a thing to have happened... yet all the pundits completely ignored it! They even played it back in slow motion several times, and no-one mentioned that his foot bounced up off the ball.
Even Jamie 'I really support Everton but don't tell anyone' Carragher completely ignored it as well.
Could Jota be punished retrospectively it is that no longer a thing?

No one gives a flying feck about West Ham. There are teams that start this exact way every season and then they fall short as the season progresses. Last year Spurs were going to win the league. The year before Sheffield were going to finish top 4, in fact United fans were so worried they wanted to cancel Dean Henderson's loan just to jeopardise their season. And now people are so worried about West Ham that Liverpool losing a league game in November is 'a poor result' for United. Liverpool losing is a poor result for United. Imagine saying that with a straight face

Current trajectory we will take longer cause we stick by managers too long.
If a manager isn't good enough we need to get rid of them striaght away. If that means they only have the job for a few months then so be it.

I don’t think Liverpool have the squad depth to win the league this season. And it would be embarrassing if West Ham finish above us especially with Moyes managing them.
Surely the United job is made for him now. Sleeping giant and all that, just like Liverpool were, before he went there.

This is not the right thread for it but I wanted to talk about it -
Liverpool’s squad is looking a bit towards the older side of things than players completely and fully in their prime like a year or two ago.
Klopp has said how he may be leaving soon and whilst he has left Liverpool as Giant's of the game again - I do wonder what exactly might be left behind after Van Dijk, Salah, Mane, Henderson, Thiago, Milner etc get that little bit older after Klopp has left.
I wonder if Klopp leaves and the club will be good but a new manager might have to do a bit of a rebuilding job that Klopp hasn't done.
It's just a thought I've had because Pep has talked about leaving City in approx 2023. I can maybe see Klopp leaving Liverpool around that time. I can see Conte having a fight with Daniel Levy and Spurs by then for him to be sacked. Tuchel is someone I'm unsure about but Chelsea are short term manager keepers when things dont go right too.
By 2024 - I can see most if not all Pep, Klopp, Tuchel, Conte walking out of their jobs. This high level management we see in the Premier League - I do wonder what happens when it leaves and who comes afterwards to those clubs or even ours on a potentially different level of competition.
I have always believed leagues go through waves of a high level and a low level (we see the low level of La Liga now) - and I see a slight low level of the PL is around the corner.
