Jurgen Klopp Sack Watch

Best out there after Pep. I mean just look at what they fielded tonight. As annoying as he is. He's an amazing coach and we should have done everything to get him instead of all the shit we went for after Fergie.

He is a fecking genuis. An XI that had Henderson, Milner, Origi, Shaqiri, Matip just convincingly beat Barcelona in a UCL semis to reach a consecutive UCL final, and people think we just need some players. Until we get a manager as good as him, we aren't going anywhere.
I would personally drive Solskjaer and half of our fanbase to Liverpool if it means coming back to Manchester with Klopp ffs.

But but but....Ole smiles in his pressers :(

As a BL fan, I used to be embarassed everytime Origi scored for Wolfsburg last season because it would show how average the league is. Thankfully, it didn't happen that often.

Now he scores twice against Barca in a UCL semi final  Full credit to Klopp to getting a team like that to score 4 times against Barca.

Look at Roma’s team last year. Any team that got the first goal would have had a real chance tonight. Tonight was as much about one team bottling and the other team winning. Same as United at PSG.

Yeah mocking and laughing at him was fine but look like we were all deluding ourselves folks.

I'll sell everything to have a similar season in the next 15 years fecking hell. 97 points in the league and back to back CL finals. He made them a top top club again while we're still 6th and fecking shite.

I hate football some times.

If it wasn't for a certain Armenian's finishing he would've done the same to Real Madrid a couple of years ago.

The genius has won nothing yet.

Just saying.

He is a great manager though (one of the best in the world). That can't be disputed. Also he seems like a very chill and happy person, which helps relax his players and make them enjoy playing football. The key to management is how you psychologically understand each player, and he seems like he can do that very well.

3 European finals in a row, absurd points tally in PL. He's made them one of the best clubs in Europe.

They really had no business to turn around this deficit with likes of Origi Henderson and Wijnaldum in the side ffs.

Someone take some samples. The amount that team runs, over this long a season, is simply ridiculous. Wouldn't have thought it possible!

We laugh and joke about his mental antics the same way a group of nerds looks across a pub at some guy being hilarious by the bar, everyone having a good time with him, laughing and joking while we make snide comments to make ourselves feel better.

Sad really.

I think this busted the myth about personnel as well. This was a second string XI. Look at the performance, the fitness and energy levels.

Clearly, it is a result of coaching. This is what gets average players to do well. Ok, maybe Klopp is better than any manager at it, but a half-competent manager could do atleast 80% of what Klopp does with average squads.

Also, for those who thought Jose made progress and should have stayed on, another year of lethargic football will drain the fitness standards at the club even further. The time of reactive managers is over. Even if Ole flops, least he can do is get the players running and pressing and improve fitness levels so that the next manager doesn't have to deal with a bunch of wallflowers.

Jesus Christ people still banging on about that PSG game that we never should have won.....

They probably play the best football in the PL and just won 4-0 against Barcelona with a team a "manager" like we have would be happy to just get beat 2-0 or 3-0 with.

I know.

I'm just being a bitter twat

He really is a genius. Any team would have won the league with 97 points yet its unlucky he came up against an illegal oil money team. Now he has gone and once again made it to the final for the second year in a row in europe.

We might have to study how this man creates a team with such intensity. First is was BVb and now its these scousers. Need ajax/tottenham to save us but a genius Klopp is regardless.

He's been my favourite manager after SAF, and maybe Heynckes, but I still doubt him when it comes to finals. No matter who they are facing come the final, I still have a feeling his team will buckle under pressure and lose it.

It is reminding me of their lose to Wolfsburg, they were the favourites then as well and missed a lot of chances before losing 3-1.

Paris was a fluke. This was as convincing as victories go. Because Barcelona lost a three-goal lead, I reckon everyone is going to try and make it completely about them.

Spot on...

Barca were absolutely awful, but you can't take anything away from Liverpool, given that they were without two of their front three, as well as missing Keita, and having to take Robertson off at half-time when it was still 1-0.

I feel sick.

He is the best manager in the world for me. What he has done with Liverpool is much more impressive than what Pep has done at City. When i see Liverpools midfield it looks very average to me yet it is so effective. Players like Mane and Salah i genuinely believe that if it was another manager there they wouldn't be anywhere near as good. I believe its his tactics that make them all look better than what they are. His achievement at Liverpool is comparable to Simeones at Atletico, but while playing much better entertaining football.

We need to get a top attacking coach here as soon as possible. The way forward is any of Tuchel/Pocchetino/Jardim. Im just tired of the tripe that we call football that happens here every week. Watching us is a chore and an embarrassment. I honestly wouldn't even mind finishing 6th place if we at least played entertaining attacking football with our players exuding even half the passion the City and Liverpool players put out there each game. I dont blame Ole for any of this however as he has inherited a very shit squad, but at the same time should we really give an unproven manager another year and potentially further hold back our rebuild. Im pretty sure he will still be here next season, so i wish him the best of luck

Not even to shit on their squad but the job he's done in the league and CL is incredible. A lot of those players starting I think would look poor under other managers.

If you brought in the likes of Henderson, Matip, Milner, Origi, Shaqiri and Wijnaldum into our squad under Ole, Jose or any of our previous managers and apart from maybe a little more workrate, I imagine our fans would brand them as shit and need replacing. Under Klopp it's a different story

I hate him but pains me to say he's a bit like Ferguson, making a proper, fighting, winning team out of average players. They won with Origi and Wiynaldum braces today ffs. Of course Barcelona with their lousy game helped but it goes both ways, Barca being crap and Liverpool being good. Not to mention bang average midfield on paper but as a team they function brilliantly.
Of course he's not close to Fergie trophies wise and hopefully his record in the finals will continue on 1st of June.

If only we’d gotten him or Pep in 2013...

Gutting.

To be fair Mourinho, Klopp or Guardiola were the candidates. Mourinho went the Chelsea and won a title. Klopps went to Pool and started a rebuild. Guardiola was always City pet project piece.

Suppose instead of Van Gaal but yeah, I don't think Klopp would have done well here with our set up and structure.

I would normally go on about him bottling finals but not this time, sadly. This team actually deserves to be there and losing the league to City will only make them stronger in this final.
