Jurgen Klopp Sack Watch

The entire world outside of Liverpool fans know exactly how that game would have went.

6 times moral victory, la.
It's all good. We got to the final, injury to Salah or not we probably would have lost but what hurts is that if it weren't for the dark arts of that utter prick Ramos we could have shown what we are really capable of. How can people not see this?

Because hypotheticals don't count in sports. The "if x would have happened then y" thinking is one of the worst things a pro can do in sports. If fans do it, it's fine - but if someone in the position Klopp's in does it, it shows a weak mindset.

He like the rest of us associated with Livepool still feels there was an injustice perofmed, so what if he wants to moan? It's ok for Mourinho to throw his board under his best bus because he never got his signings but Klopp can not bring this whole episode up? It's a joke.

Yeah, you really get this unhinged cult like following feeling of Mourinho reading on the Caf, don't you? No one ever criticize him on here, ever.

When Mourinho talks about signings he is talking about the coming season, something that is still not set in stone and can be influenced. Klopp is moaning about the CL final almost three months later, with the new season almost under way again, that's the ridiculous part and why it was good that Ramos (hopefully) finally shut him up today. What's in the history books can't be changed and I personally never thought that the Salah situation was the deciding factor of the final. If Klopp brings it up again now that the new season is under way serious questions should be asked about his mindset because I'm not sure he could stomach another disappointment/lost final...

Don't blame us or Klopp just because over half the United fans on here want Mourinho to feck off. Liverpool fans are unanimous in our love for Klopp unlike what's going at your club. We shouldn't have even got to a semi final with our squad nevermind a final so if you think it affects us bringing up getting beat by R.Madrid you are wrong. We shouldn't have even been there, we are just bitter how things worked out when we got there due to cheating and dark arts.

You are right, I agree with you. But as a football fan you can understand why Klopp still mentions it? He's still hurting. That's perfectly fine.

How exactly did you get cheated?

Klopp should really let it go. Move on. Plenty to be positive about for the present.

Other managers wouldn't keep on moaning ten years after, if there is a decision against them in an important game, like a ghost goal or something :)

The Great Mersyside Orgy? Don't forget to take pics.

That's the whole point, it's not 10 years later it's only 3 months. I personally can't blame him for still being salty. Even if i fecking hatred for pool and Klopp i would understand.

Having heard the original words, Ramos response was straight forward, no doubt, but the media makes it look a little bit worse than it is.

This is one of the reasons why journalism is one of the professions I dislike the most.

Are you saying this tweet was not translated correctly? If so would you mind doing the honours?

It's ridiculous. He can't defend the club he manages? Come on. He's well within his right to still be salty because nobody knows how the game would have gone had Mo not got injured. United forum or not this is getting ridic

Totally agree mate .ive been a united fan for 45 years ( no love for Liverpool in my house ).But I find criticism of Klopp laughable .Watching his interaction with his players is fabulous, you can see that they love the guy , his enthusiasm is infectious , he’s likeable and is fast making Liverpool a force to be reckoned with again.

The criticism of him never winning finals is also ridiculous .There is only one team in Germany and Bayern hold the monopoly with constant buying power to to regularly buy up all the other clubs best players .The fact that he got his clubs to finals should be applauded .

I have never envied anything about Liverpool but I would swap Jose for Klopp in a heartbeat and any United fan who wouldn’t is either blind to Jose,s miserable persona that results in many players tolerating him at best and openly hostile to him at worst or is just blinded by such a hatred of Liverpool that they cannot / will not acknowledge how well they have done to get this guy as manager

It's hard for me to translate it, because in the end Ramos says something like he voted Klopp because he thinks he's one of the best around, no matter what his opinion is, then he adds "I voted him, so he calms down". Let's say he was direct but a little more diplomatic than the translation suggests but the essence still remains. It doesn't change things radically, but I'm completely against this kind of sensationalist headlines. Before that he suggests Klopp to meet his own business.

Overall I would say it was straight forward, just no plain rude as it sounds from that tweet.

Games where controversial decisions or incidents take place often leave a mark on a manager. Just look at Jose and the infamous "ghost" goal - he was still talking about it over a decade later.

Call me a blinded miserable persona then.
Nice to see some nice words for poor old Klopp.
(Reminds me of old Jonno)

Great by Ramos, telling it like it is.

God bless you mate. I won't even bother replying to the other posters who have quoted me. This says it all. :)

Exactly. But in fairness this is a United forum and we can't be too confrontational hence why I didn't even mention it.

To be fair, that Salah moment was soul crushing.

I personally haven’t gotten over Fletchers booking in the semi and Nanis red card from not too long ago

Can we not have this debate again please. It happened, it sucked, get over it and move on. There’s a new season ongoing.
Look it's over and done with in my eyes but people trying to recreate history I won't accept. If I have to argue the toss i will. I'm content to let this go because I know our club is on to better things.

Touche la .. Touche.

This is literally what you are trying to do.
