Jurgen Klopp Sack Watch

And what have Liverpool won?

Remind me..

We've won nothing, but then we weren't exactly pulling up trees in the four years before then either, unlike Utd. Oh, and as your fellow fan so kindly noted, we don't have anything like the money or pull that you do.

Honestly, is this your stock response to anyone (aside from fans of the many poorer clubs that are faring better than you right now) who notes your decreasing levels of success of late, to say that you've won more than them? You're the richest club in the world, with the most expensive squad ever. It just doesn't wash to try and equate how we (or any other club in the world for that matter) are doing with how you should be doing. It's like a fan criticising a highly paid footballer for missing a gimme and that footballer turning round and asking what that fan's done.

Yep, that slide from the top hurts, I know, I've been there as a fan. If I was posting here in 1995 I'd probably, God forbid, be coming out with the same deluded, reality-denying stuff that you are now. 27 years on, it just brushes off.

We both know Jose isn't adverse to a bit of chest and badge-thumping (or wearing famous Manc band the Stone Roses t-shirts to Man United press conferences) in order to get the fans onside, although he probably means it in a way that Klopp the big fraud doesn't. TheReligion would know, what with his insight into the personalities of people he's never met and all.

Yeah, an FA Cup and a League Cup (formerly known as the Mickey Mouse Cup by Utd fans) in four years. Good to see all that money and pull is paying off. If you repeat that level of success in the next four years I'll be as happy as you are, believe me.

Ha! Before they ended up where they are now, I think we both know how that would've went. Now though, with Jose's Invincibles running away with the title, and all that scintillating football (and Klopp finally being rumbled as a big old attention-seeker) I think they might just give it to the Portugese ray of sunshine.

Unless there was a secret ballot.
That's the same as Liverpool in the past 11 years

You waffle an awful lot.

So I take it in your opinion Liverpool are faring better than United despite winning nothing post Sir Alex Ferguson and United winning two domestic pieces of silverwear. Ok. You try and convince yourself you'd prefer that than physically winning.

It reminds me of the exciting ceremony to unveil your new stand.

Are United doing better than Spurs as well?

Why would you take that when he's said nothing of that sort?

In terms of success? Yes. Don't think there's an argument to be had there.

The way I see it is simple. United are struggling post SAF. That's not up for debate and you won't find a United fan who thought it would be a smooth transition. He's the best manager the world has seen. It was always going to be a step down when he left.

Sadly the club didn't handle it that well and we've seen Moyes and LvG come and go. Now we have Jose. We have also had issues in the transfer market along with our style of play - basically everything has been in need of an overhaul and that's the task of Mourinho. Sadly this takes time and most level headed people acknowledge this and are happy to see the small improvements we have seen this term despite the obvious issues that still remain.

With regards to everyone else well it has to be viewed as missed opportunities so far. When SAF left a massive porthole appeared but no one has been able to seize it. United are going through a tricky period of restructure but are still managing to win trophies and bring smaller success - this is something the likes of Liverpool and Spurs have been unable to do.

For all the digs oppo fans want to take at United the club is successful and unfortunately won't vanish into obscurity due to the financial structure in place and the standing of the club. This is not Liverpool dropping just before the BSkyB deal and struggling to compete ever since.

What's he saying then?

Have another read.

Is that a serious question? Genuinely? He has been in management over 16 years, it might shock you but some people followed his career before Liverpool. His actions/demeanour are the same as before.
But he could still be fake, no? I mean, you don't know him on a personal level do you?

Are you actually for real? Your hatred for all things Liverpudlian is affecting you. If his actions and demeanour on the touchline etc have not wavered since his foray into management then they cannot be fake, which is what the original fake comment was referring to.

Why in God's name would anybody be referring to his personal traits, nobody on this forum knows him just as nobody here knows Mourinho, Pogba etc.. We base our opinions mainly on what we see in their footballing lives as that's the only insight we have.

I am not saying he is fake or vehemently defending him as if he was my dad either.

None of us really know if he is fake or not.

Very good manager though, not going to say otherwise. Is Jose a bit of a cnut? Definitely. But he's our cnut.

You Klopp fanboys are most odd.

Good day.

One can only congratulate them on their amazing improvement of lately. They are perhaps the most exciting and promising teams in England right now, and not even us united fans can take that away from them.

Really smart to pick up the most pragmatic manager in the world and allow him time to operate. They are in a really good position to win the league within 5 years. I'm scared to death what this summer will bring them in terms of talents. They've got totally different tools and markets compared to us.

I would love to see a comparison of our clubs were current squad value vs obtaining price are the factors. One word: Value.

It really hurts an old united heart to see all their success and promising prospects for the future. Good on them for not selling out to big money Chinese.
Great under the radar pi$$ take. You could survive RAWK with this quality....

Points after 28 games as manger of @ManUtd:

– Van Gaal: 63

– Moyes: 59

– Mourinho: 53

Hmmm........shall we choose Klopp 'the fake' or Jose 'the flake'........decisions, decisions!

Heard it all now! Considering Jose's managed some of the most monied and established clubs in the world, it's amazing how often he plays up the 'us against the FA/refs/media/ballboys/anyone' line to get his squad believing they're hard done by and suffering some enormous injustice. It's a testament to how massively thick most footballers are that they fall for his bollocks. At least for a season or two anyway.

Yeah, but Jose wears Stone Roses shirts and runs down the tunnel when he's punching the air after beating some relegation-threatened side instead of staying on the sidelines to shake hands with the opposition manager, like that fake Klopp with his smile and his hair. Urgh. These are the important things now. Get with the program.
And Klopp wears Beatles shirt and acts like a bellend sometimes. What's your point exactly?

also @njred, Most apt tagline if I ever saw one.

We have an eager new member and a Liverpool fan. Based on these 2 posts he won't survive long.

For someone who says he doesn't care what oppo fans think of Klopp you do defend him a lot. You really sound nervous.

Erm, we're all guests here, unless I'm mistaken and you own a share of the site.

Unlike you, I really couldn't care what an oppo fan (or even most Liverpool fans) thinks of my clubs manager, I've never pretended he's flawless, it's just the risible double-standards that got me responding. I've said what I wanted to, now I'll leave you to let everyone know what a great and loyal Red you are.

Seems a strange statement to make in a thread discussing your manager.

They won something and I'm sure of it

Tbf at least they managed to score against them

eh? ....free speech I'd suggest in my defence.....and do you really want a 'police state' as many say RAWK has become?

And you only quoted ONE post......

Don't think so. These are totals that have you challenging for the titles, we never were in a position to challenge for the title after 28 games under either LvG or Moe's.

How many points are you fancying from these last 9 games?

In the region of 7 wins looks very doable, isn't it?

edit - had best say including yesterday to = 9 games, LFC only 8 left now,of course

Hmm, let's see now.

Bournemouth - Draw
Stoke - Draw
WBA - Loss
Palace - Win
Watford - Win
Southampton - Draw
West Ham - Draw
Middlesbrough - Win

Edit: I can't decide on Bournemouth. Right now I feel we're due another stupid result so it's a draw, and Mane might be out too. But it could well be a win if you ask me on another day.

Did you make these numbers up? Moyes didn't even have 59 points when he was sacked

Because, by the time the trigger was finally pulled, Moyes’s United were in seventh place on 57 points from 34 games, 13 points from a Champions League berth.

Oops.....turns out that was a pile of bollox which I was over eager to share with you all :D.....no, the actual points after 28 league games are as follows

Moyes 48

LVG 53

Mourinho 53

So Jose is doing much much better.........ok then, a bit better......well a bit better than Moyes anyway.....but he was proper shyte, wasn't he?

A few things, what does this have to do with Jurgen Klopp? Secondly, points aren't the only indicator of improvement. Thirdly, the league is much harder and more competitive than under those managers.

Using such simple logic, Brendan Rodgers nearly won the league with Liverpool, yet Klopp is simply competing for top 4, fraud of a manager. Rodgers is clearly superior
