Jurgen Klopp Sack Watch

When he was first doing it I got riled up, but now it's just absolutely hilarious. Jose will have a great opportunity to really get into his head the next time we meet. Fergie would've had a field day with this guy!

feck I always see the title edits on this thread and just assume you guys are stretching the truth for fun. Nope, he's STILL mentioning it whilst ignoring the offside on his goal. :wenger:

They must give Liverpool managers some sort of HR starter pack when they join, why are they all raving lunatics?

What was it 6 weeks ago United played Liverpool at Old Trafford? Time to build a bridge, move on, get over it and worry about getting Liverpool back into the top four. Yes, Klopp has a case about Valencia being offside in the build up but maybe his defenders could have done a better job of stopping a goal after the offside wasn't called.

Liverpools corner that led to their goal shouldn't have been allowed as they had a player offside too, but he doesn't remember that as it benefitted him. He's being a spoon.

3 games if Burnley beat their lower league opposition in the cup.

If Millwall-Leicester ends in a draw then Leicester-Liverpool scheduled for MNF would also have to be postponed because the replay would take place in that midweek.

A scenario where they play 2 games in 50 days is very much likely. That's basically 2 games in almost 20 % of the whole season. To even think some of the scousers in this thread were celebrating getting knocked out of the cups because it meant more rest.

If this was the case I'd say they would deffo finish outside the top4, players would lose their match edge playing so few games in a 7 week period

"I don't want to make a story of it." - Man who mentions it, directly to the press, every week.

OK now he's getting silly. He's just evaluating every game and giving some bullshit reason for losing.

If anyone was given just a transcript of the interview without any names, and were asked to guess the manager, 99% chance they'd say Moyes. He'll probably get fecked by Leicester too.

Eh. Liverpool are a Suarez/Lewandowski striker away from going toe to toe with chelsea this season, actually. Klopp's been doing a great job in the league. FA Cup was the real big failure so far

umm... what about the teams without Suarez/Lewandowski that are ahead of them or just behind them. What happens if they get those type of players? Why is it only Liverpool who are "such and such a player" away from "this or that".

It's even funnier when you consider that that calibre of player is not going to join them over the big 3-4

He always was a sore loser and loved to make petty digs at Bayern. The majority on the Caf loved him for it though.

I think it got even worse since he joined Liverpool, but it was always there.

I don't think many of us were listening to his interviews. Klopp was lauded on the caf because of his results on the pitch. All his off the pitch "qualities" came to light when he joined Liverpool.

Someone needs to show this twat the offside play which led to their corner and resulting handball.

I know what you mean but if your hands are above your head when the ball hits them then that's a penalty every time. Intent is hard to interpret by a referee so they have to make a decision based on stuff like the position of the arms. You just can't compete for a header with your arms waving around above your head.

I think the 'natural position' stuff goes out of the window when going for a header. Every aerial challenge is different and arms are all over the place. I don't think there is a natural position for the arms to be.

That said, I think the handball rule is rubbish and I agree that intent is almost impossible to call, yet it is the basis of the rule. It definitely needs redefining.

I also feel certain that if the ref had TV replays, he could see that and I don't think he'd give a penalty. You can see from the replay that there is absolutely no deliberate intent to ply the ball with the hand especially as his eyes are closed, but as you say, he has made a decision based on the position of the hand, because he can't see intent in real time.

Either way, I still think they were lucky to get a penalty. At the very least, hopefully it taught Pogba not to header the ball like the shit kid in PE who is scared of the ball, so just closes his eyes and hopes he doesn't get hurt.

He's inviting pressure on himself now. I wouldn't mind if the season was over and we'd already finished in the top four but right now the best thing he can do is shut up and get on with it.

We've had decisions go our way this season as many times as they've gone against us.

As somebody already said, I'd love it if they lost on top 4 by two points.

Would be hilarious. They can release a book then at the end of the season about the injustice of it and how brave they were in unjust circumstances.

Also, the United match is sort of a strange example to blame the ref - because you were gifted a goal from Pogba.

If you had won that match, it wouldn't have been due to an amazing performance, but due to a total freak cock-up form nothing, courtesy of the other team.

As I said when Herrera was debatably sent off against Burnley and we drew after Heaton played the match of his life: It wouldn't have fecking mattered at all if we had put two chances away in the first half. Game over. Refs will always make mistakes. You can't control that, but you'll have to overcome that if you want to win. No-one talks about the ref's mistakes in matches you win anyway (we've had some of those this season as well).

It was never a penalty either. Both sides got a bit of luck. Klopp needs to pull himself together.

Yeah good points. Referees will always make mistakes. They're only human at the end of the day, but the best teams make sure that those decisions don't get in the way of their ambitions.

Tbf no one listened to his press conferences, CAF loved him for his antics on the sideline and how he took Dortmund to new heights.

This German wanker is not letting this go. Below is a picture of the offside play that led to their corner.

These things happen.

I hope we play them second game of the season next time around, and beat them at anfield in the 9th minute of extra time, scored by an offside Zlatan, using his hand after being given 2 yellow cards and not sent off.

His head would explode and he'd be fecked for the rest of the season.
