Jurgen Klopp Sack Watch

Is that what a crisis looks like ? Well long may it continue because it didn't look anything like a crisis. Chelsea are running away with the league and we more than deserved the draw against the league leaders, which in the end was a fair result. Firmino had two great chances, one an open goal, unfortunately he didn't take either but it evened out.

 crisis yet?

Just had a look at the result.

:lol::lol::lol:

That makes our point against them feel a lot better.
It's somehow lightened my mood and annoyed me at the same time. If only Mata had finished that chance we'd 2 points closer. Still, if we win tomorrow, 4 points gained this week isn't bad. A big if, though!

This is so sweet. Where have all Klopp fanboys disappeared? In the Jose thread slating Jose?

Cracking 2017 for Liverpool so far

Where have all those people saying they were going to win the league gone?!

When City hammer Swansea tomorrow, they'll be 5th! What a drop.

We will finish above them, but the worry is that 5th is the prize!

Nothing screams I'm a massive bellend like emboldening your own posts.

Literally everyone said that. You're not special.

You sound annoyed, mate. Are you a Liverpool fan? Apologies if so, I just didn't know.

I think his point was valid, and not everyone in here was in agreement, lots in here seemed to buy into the ridiculous hype of this very ordinary Liverpool team and 1-dimensional manager.

Are you referring to the Man Utd supporters who are fans of Klopp or LFC supports who are fans of Klopp? I'm still a fan of him - still think he's a good manager. Sadly I can't say the same about our squad though. Barring one or two players, everyone else is average. Their form was great earlier in the season, but that's gone down tremendously and as a result the confidence has also gone down.

The same 1-dimensional manager who many here wanted at Man Utd? With that respect, does Mourinho have 4-dimensions? Ask a neutral, I am pretty sure they wouldn't say that about Mourinho. One thing I will give him credit for though - he knows how to set up a defense!

The United clowns who probably have his posters in their rooms. Said it a long time ago while people were still wanking off to him. If ever a manager suited this shit hole of a club it was Klopp.

"Their fixtures are easier"

Swansea at home lost
Hull away lost.

Roll on more "easier" fixtures

To be fair to Klopp he's doing a good job with the team he has. They have the 6th-7th best team in the league and he has them 4th for now.

How are these long balls feel now?

Karma has bitten him hard since he came up with that shit after our match.

Be 5th tomorrow and a point of 6th if we win tomorrow. The problem being his start raised the expectation levels now they have dropped they are not playing like the 6-7th best team in England but more like relegation form.
Klopp got the praise when going well now he must soak up the criticism which is deserved for the way the results are going.

They have the perfect schedule coming up for his high intensity and high pressing game. Also they won't suffer due to their limited squad since they can play the same 11 match after match.

Compare that with us who have fixtures right left and center and will have to rotate and conserve energy.

Not claiming to be special, bellend asshole. I don't read every frigging post here. Now run along and play with the traffic.

It's going to a dogfight! With Man City, Man Utd, Arsenal & Liverpool all fighting for the 4th spot. After looking at the squad in the summer, my realistic expectation for the club was challenge for Top 4 with a decent Cup run; However, finishing #5 or #6 was looking more 'on par'. I hate to say that I was right (cause I don't want to), but it may have been the right prediction.

We have deficiencies in the squad. Anyone who thinks otherwise is blind. And Klopp is a manager with limitations. Any manager at the helm can only motivate and get so much out of you. Ultimately it's the players on the pitch that are running and executing. If we make Top 4 this year, it will be a test for FSG to see how ambitious they are going forward. So far they have spent - but mostly on sub-par average players.
Fair play, hard to disagree.

As another person pointed out, this ends Liverpool's congestion period. They now have to capitalise on their more tired rivals. If they can do this, top 4 is likely. If not, well next year will be worse with the Europa league.

You definitely need a few signings. Fsg need to back Klopp in the market completely this summer. You need a bigger squad and strengthening in several positions. This will be costly.

remember some of our resident scousers talking like they had won the title before our run.
"How the mighty have fallen".

Delusional scousers.
I really don't remember any RedCafe Liverpool supporters claiming they had won, or would win, the title. Most actually rebuked me when, back in September, I predicted they would win it or come close.

Na, I feel sad enough spending as much time on this Forum as a United fan, never mind the kind of sociopath it takes to be an opppo fan on here.

As much as I'm enjoying Liverpool being terrible people are jumping the gun on Klopp. I get it though, he's intensely dislikable at Liverpool.

I don't buy into this line of thinking though. They didn't lose today because they were tired or needed a rest. They lost because the rest of the league have figured out the best way to play against them and Klopp has no plan b.

I think its 5 finals now

Edit
I think he lost 6, German cup 2008 as well.
To be fair, in everyone bar probably the 2015 one(and even there was wolfsburg ahead of them in the league although dortmund had the better squad) his team was always the underdog. It's the classic "Praise for reaching a final vs criticism for losing it" debate.

Don't worry. This is the year the Wenger boys finish outside the top 4.

Mentally they are shot. They need to string two good performances and results together. Their schedule is good for rest and recuperation, terrible for rhythm which is something they are really struggling with at the minute.

This is a dramatic freefall we're in. wtf.

I actually think they have oversee formed earlier in the season and they will probably finish the season strongly due to rest time between games, once the European competitions start again.

Really hoping we can overtake them by next week

The very fact we're still behind them given their form tells you all you need to know about United.

We've not capitalised on their poor form.
